What's the chances of having this thread renamed "Dead football clubs tear stained remembrance thread"? Just so that the Rangers fans can join the Rangers of the North fans in their grief next season.
-
No there was always going to be a deal struck, what these thick players do not realise though is that when Govan Rangers Ltd 2012 take over their contracts will be transferred across at their latest terms and conditions under TUPE rules ie 75% pay cut if a saviour is found. Good piece of business by Duff and Duffer.

No rules but when we had to do the groundshare thing St Johnstone was the preferred option due to the A9 being slightly better for fans to travel than the A96, the St Johnstone chairman put a block on this because he did not want to give up his club's priority to the stadium. The SPL will allow it but SPL fixtures must be given priority this has led to the urban myth that the SPL blocked the move, My link

They're screwed, micro pop corn is cooking, jelly's been in the fridge for days, going to take the Mackie's toffee swirl out the freezer to soften up, let's get this party started. ETA will this make much difference to the league table when all points won against Rangers are voided, I know it wont affect ICTs total but will there be any interesting changes in position? And don't say Motherwell into second it's too obvious.

If you knew you had to pull the plug on the life support of a club who had such militant fans, death threats and bullets and bombs through the post being commonplace these days, would you want to be the one to hold the press conference and tell the world you were killing them off without trying to look as if you had done everything in your power to stop it? Rangers are fcuked, we all know it, but the administrators are making it look like they are trying to save them.

I can understand the administrator's quandary here, on one hand they have to decimate the team but on the other hand they have to look to the fans like they are doing their very best to keep fabric of the team together. Within the past week there have been convictions for parcel bombs sent to people who have spoken out against Rangers in the past, there was, just today, someone arrested for posting death threats towards the Celtic manager on the internet. You only have to read the bile from Rangers forums which has been reposted in this thread to understand what a horrible and vicious bunch of fans form a section of the Rangers support. I believe any decision as to the future of RFC has already been made by the administrators but there will be delays and sleight of hand to make it look as if the administrators have tried their utmost to save the club and the squad whereas they are only protecting themselves from the scum faction.
