  1. Something called The Agency: Unfiltered is on BBC Scotland after the football. I think this is one of the signs of the apocalypse.
  2. You'd think the Falkirk Mafia could get P&B to work on a day when their team's on the telly.
  3. Manchester Orchestra have a new EP/film thing: It's extremely good.
  4. I can't do an ethernet cable, but I've not had any problems with the wifi in the time I've been here. You have been very reassuring, thank you.
  5. Week 10 update One death this week, the actor Chaim Topol: Chaim Topol: Fiddler on the Roof star dies aged 87 - BBC News Also worth nothing: Topol would play the part more than 3,500 times, he once claimed, on stages around the world from the late 1960s until 2009. That's a lot of fiddling. Topol died at 87 so he's worth 38 Base Points for @Arbroathlegend36-0 with a Solo Shot taking that to 88 points. As a result, the standings look like this: 1. JustOneCornetto 255 2. The Naitch 208 3. Arbroathlegend36-0 198 4. buddiepaul 194 5. LoonsYouthTeam 187 6. psv_killie 185 7. peasy23 165 8. The DA 153 9. Desp, Ned Nederlander 151 11. 6. Realised after I posted (and went to bed) that I meant the latter. I think I over-estimated how graphically intense that is so that's a plus. Budget-wise I've actually been surprised at how expensive things are since I last bought one in 2018, but fair enough. £500 would have been my starting point but based on what I've seen since making these threads I'd be willing to go to 600-700.
  7. Not really bothered about the size. The one I have is sitting behind a 24 inch monitor and I can't even see the speaker sitting on top of it. I've had a mini PC before and the heat/subsequent noise from it was unbearable, although admittedly that was about ten years ago. I might need graphics. I'd like to stream some games, I'd like to make a massively successful Football Manager thread on here, but I realise you can basically spend an unlimited amount of money on this and in my case it'd probably be a case of diminishing returns. I currently have this I can't even really use it for streaming video any more, the RAM goes nuts and it takes an age to actually load the stuff in the first place. I hadn't heard of this one, the only site like that I'd really looked at was PC Specialist. I'll have a look, thanks. If I go to such a place (no idea if I have one) I'll resemble this when I walk in:
  8. Things younger people wouldn't understand thread for this pish.
  9. I don't know how to build a PC. I don't care what kind of processor I have or how this graphics card compares to this other one with a name that's got a slightly higher digit in it somewhere. All I want is a reputable source to buy it from at a decent price. I know what my budget is and how much I'm (broadly) willing to spend considering how much use I'll get from it. Where should I get one from? Can anyone recommend a site?
  10. I already have my Phil Collins post prepared. "Take a look at me now, I'm still standing here" Naw ye urnae
  11. I'm just posting in here so I can be part of history when P&B is read out in court.
  12. I'm pretty sure they still have "buildings" nowadays so this will only be ignorance, not youth.
  13. I know you're pretending not to understand something to make a point but your club plays in the same league as a team nicknamed the Gable Endies, it's not that bizarre.
  14. They made a shite car this year and (seemingly) updated it a bit this year. I don't know what they could have expected.
  15. There's an episode of Frasier where he attends the wedding of a cousin whose relationship he interfered with before causing his aunt to cut him off. He goes to the wedding and the usual elaborate farce plays out, where the prospective bride and groom's relationship falls apart as Frasier brings back his cousin's old girlfriend and they get back together. On the way out, the jilted bride shouts at him "do you see how happy you've made my parents?" - as they don't need to get married into the extremely caricatured Greek family. Pretty much ever since this assortment of chancers has entered the public consciousness I've had that scene in my head, only she's shouting "do you see how happy you've made The_Kincardine?!" A clip of that part isn't on youtube so here's a clip from about 20 seconds before it. I'm off to google "how to emigrate"
