  1. Czech effort could be better if the intro could have been longer and if the woman could sing, but at least it's a look.
  2. Poland seem to have sent a snooker referee.
  3. "Pizza toast" was the version I learned. We at least mixed the puree in with the cheese before it went under the grill.
  4. Clearly none of them have seen it before if they didn't twig that a task about raising the water in a fish tank that had a statue of Archimedes next to it might have a cheat way of winning.
  5. Anyway, here's me trying to deal with Ticketmaster:
  6. Is it just a QR code you can access/screenshot/scan at will? If you can do that why would they say you can't print it out, wouldn't that just be the same thing?
  7. I clicked on this to see what it actually said because I thought I must be missing something based on the bit you quoted. Reading the rest made it worse.
  8. I saw... somewhere, you see too many things in too many places nowadays to narrow it down, I saw someone say "Karl Marx was a capitalist, he wrote a book about it" the other day which I found amusing. Or maybe it's an attempt to bring the Shiba Inu memes back. very karl marx, much capital
  9. Question here about Ticketmaster and their eTickets Since it seems I can't get a physical one for Arcade Fire and the electronic version is the only option, how does this work? It says the tickets will be in my account or in the app and "When you go mobile, your tickets will not be e-mailed to you or available to print." Does this mean if you don't have a smartphone, you effectively can't use this service?
  10. Probably telling that I only remembered this went on sale today about ten minutes ago and it looks like two sections of the Hydro are sold out for this. £10 of fees! An extra £6 for a physical ticket which mugs/luddites like me will pay out of sheet stubbornness! Not even counting delivery costs. I've not seen them in two albums and they put on a show, I'm telling myself that.
  11. A "splash of mayo" on some slices of ham. Here he is cry-laughing at other peoples' diets.
  12. I did quite like that, eventually. I reckon We might be a bit trickier.
  13. I am definitely much more underwhelmed than I was when @SweeperDee tried to convince me Everything Now was good.
  14. I'm about to listen to the new Arcade Fire album and so far I'll say it's quite comfortably the most annoying CD packaging I've ever encountered. God knows what the vinyl's like.
  15. Series 5 Episode 4: Jimmy Carr was introduced as quoted in a recent article as "the Rolls-Royce of comedians" I prefer the Stig's description of him as the worst driver he'd ever seen and the luckiest man alive.
  16. Not going to be American football hats, it'll be one of these with PIRELLI plastered on it Or maybe an Elvis wig.
  17. I honestly don't know. I don't think I've ever really had outright favourite songs from bands. I'm pretty sure I have a thread in the Top Fives forum on this subject and it's five that are sort of above everything else, but for bands that I really like and bands that are really good there might be a certain time where I feel like listening to a song or album in particular but for the most part I'd take just about anything. When they did the Barras in 2016 and played Things I lost my shit because I love that song and I never thought I'd see it live, so I'll say that for now for something different. (I've been doing some reading and discovered it was Scott's favourite) Here's a video from 2017:
  18. Series 5 Episode 3: He's mentioned it before a few times, but Jeremy keeps referring to the Bugatti "Veryon" which is in development. He's tried on the special "Veryon" wristwatch which costs over 100k. California is introducing dog seatbelts and they're moaning about not being able to do anything anymore and how this will be brought in over here. They were very ahead of their time, really.
  19. The thought of making this thread came into my head the other day. A Scottish club winning a European trophy is only something that's happened four times. It's not happened for almost forty years. It might never happen again. Would you like to see it happen? I've made the poll anonymous so you don't have to admit to wanting Rangers and their fans to be happy.
