  1. I'm going to have a hard enough time defending Shandon's honour, I'm not taking on you as well.
  2. Have you considered diversifying your content?
  3. My initial instinct was to offer you a charity bet but I find that a bit strange when other people do it. Aside from a personal opinion on how the government have handled/reacted to this, there's no way you can look at people saying the NHS is going to struggle over winter and somehow think they'll roll back on most prominent part of their mitigation techniques. There is literally no warning or suggestion at all that anyone is even thinking about considering it.
  4. I wonder if Stuart will shout at me if I'm down the front and not wearing a mask.
  5. I suppose I'm going to need to figure out how to take a test too. Don't want some jobsworth demanding proof I don't have. I also see Ticketmaster telling me I need to take photo ID with me that matches the name on my ticket but tbf I don't think I've ever read the terms and conditions before, or printed off my own ticket before, so I suppose that might have always been there.
  6. Hold the fucking phone, wearing masks inside? Is this actually a thing? Has this actually been happening at gigs?
  7. I've not seen this bit. Is it on ticketmaster?
  8. @YassinMoutaouakil has had a fantastic afternoon/evening.
  9. I think you have a zip in the back of your head, personally.
  10. You can see Victoria getting more and more deranged as the series is going on. It's brilliant.
  11. Sky's advert for a magic telly is very grating.
  12. turns out this was nonsense, 7th episode ever being the one where Linda turns their house into a B&B and puts Teddy into Louise's room
  13. Didn't realise I hadn't followed up, a few days after that they were available on my account as print at home, which I've just done today at the library. It's a bit of a stretch assuming people have printers at home, never mind just a few weeks before the event date, never mind it not being what I ordered... Oh well, a gig on Sunday. How quaint. Also with a thing happening:
  14. How many of those errors stop the people affected from doing things they want to?
  15. I don't like nature programmes. Here are some plants or animals in slow motion while an old man whispers rapturously over them. So?
  16. Sound like good stuff at Spurs: Nuno Espirito Santo at Tottenham: Why it all went so wrong | Evening Standard
  17. Going to a nightclub is one thing, what happens if you've spent money on something like a season ticket, gigs, holidays, and you can't use the vaccine passport, and can't get refunds?
  18. A cold shower in the morning is a pretty unpleasant way to start the day. Yet many have been tempted to take up the habit because being immersed in cold water has many purported health benefits, both physical and mental. Cold showers were first administered for health reasons in the early 19th century when doctors designed them for use on asylum and prison inmates to “cool hot, inflamed brains, and to instil fear to tame impetuous wills”. By the mid-19th century, the Victorians realised that the shower had other uses, namely washing people – and it would be better if the water was warm. So the shower went from being a device used to inflict unpleasantness for an hour and a half to one that was very pleasant and lasted about five minutes. And yet the practice of taking a cold shower for health benefits never truly went away, and, indeed, seems to be enjoying a resurgence. Especially among Silicon Valley types. The more you hear the better it gets!
  19. Oh I'd never dream of going to see them now or any of their subsequent biennial T in the Park performances but at my first festival I enjoyed that closing performance.
