Really need could do with both back, Paton sounded the more positive of the two. Unsure whether we’ll add to squad ahead of season starting, think an option behind striker wouldn’t go a miss. Clyde having Brian McLean and Peter Grant at back, gives them a lot of experience maybe a lack of pace but I think they’ll be tough to breakdown, decently organised.

I’d love to have got a draw with a realistic chance of getting through, but giving our relegation and us wanting to get straight back hopefully the funds created will help us towards it.

Reports Todd left stadium in a moon boot. Hoping Paton was precautionary, he’s played a lot of football and looked knackered. Reilly hoping to be back for Montrose, no idea about Ruth and Wilson. Fact Todd left in a moon boot makes me think already it could be a while. Hopefully a couple of players to be added this week. One doing rounds is Bosun Lawal from Celtic, after a few team mates commented QoS on an Instagram post of his. He was in there first team squads over preseason but out today and wasn’t in b squad either. Really need to get off to a flyer, don’t want to be chasing our tails after game week one.
