  1. If that land is ok to build on now we should be looking to acquire it and expand the stadium out to the west.
  2. Hopefully he's eligible for another country that actually plays football.
  3. As usual Crawford looked much better in the middle, but it is frustrating how McCall insists on shoehorning three central midfielders into a formation that only has space for two. Wish he would play wide players wide and central players central and if that gives him a selection headache then he's well compensated for the extra stress.
  4. All those numbers are too high, but if the order's correct it shows what a good job our coaches are doing!
  5. I suppose it's not McCall who does the paperwork so maybe we can wonder a little longer?
  6. Wonder whether he's looking for a short-term deal to put himself in the window, or a longer contract to offer security in case he can't stay healthy or his level has dropped.
  7. How is "one season" defined for international transfers when not every country has the same football calendar? Could it be by calendar year? That would fix the problem. Otherwise it makes no sense for them to even be discussing it.
  8. Shankland came off the bench in a similar game up at Queens Park earlier in the season and it made no difference. Thought our best Shields were when we got Murdoch on the ball, but it didn't happen enough. Presumably he was subbed because he'd been booked. If we had been given the stonewall penalty in the first half perhaps we could've avoided this conversation, so maybe a good thing we weren't.
  9. Found it quite interesting, reading about internationalists who played for Ayr, that of the ten guys who won caps while on our books there were three Johnnys, three Jimmys and two Jenses. An odd clustering.
  10. Would be an odd move for Smith or anyone to commit to a pre contract without knowing what division the team they're signing for will be in next season.
  11. Was out on the north terrace for that, went from utterly soaked and miserable to delirious in a single moment.
  12. Can see both sides of the discussion on the team's form. On the one hand being three points off the top with a game in hand is brilliant. On the other, it's hard to see how the nine points they've dropped over the past four home games won't be crucial at the season's end. May as well try to enjoy it though - this sort of season doesn't come around often.
  13. The problem with Goodwilllie is less the fact he would bring negative press and more the message it sends to young fans and the women in our support. Even if he were the best player in the world, some things are more important than winning football matches.
  14. Is that four draws in the last five league games (3 at home)? Turning into Inverness.
