U wot m8?
You sound like someone who hasn't watched Ayr much this season

One of Ayr's better performances, but all the players seem to want at least one more touch than they have time for once they get into the final third.
Feels like a second goal would be decisive.

If results stay the way they are now we'll go into the last day with the possibility of finishing anywhere from second to sixth. Mental.

I am probably being harsh BUT at the same time had we backed ourselves in January we could have run away with the league
Maybe, but I don't think the results are the main problem. We could have had exactly the same results but been a lot happier about them if the team were playing great football and the defeats were coming due to facing better teams/injuries/bad luck.

I'm looking forward to the Dipo sale being dragged into august and subsequent claims that there was no time to find a replacement

Did we get beat by Falkirk? Don't think it's been mentioned on here at all.
Crazy thing to bring up really

Design of it does incorporate the Jewson logo better.
I really like it, but there's still an obvious block around the jewson logo (it's most obvious on the goalie kit) that's stopping it blending in perfectly.

Do not underestimate both the size of budget he'll have to work with and the fact that Haughey will have sold the new ground / long term plan to get him.
Surely Ayr's off field ambition and competitive playing budget should be appealing to any manager who's been fired from their past three jobs and isn't in the running for any of the three vacancies in the tier one above?

Are we 100% Bullen will be here next season, as in he's homesick. There hasn't been any chat from him about next season that I've heard. Not that that's unusual but thought we might have got a snippet from him about it
Are his family still living in England?

Oh, and remember that no matter how bad things get as an Ayr United fan - at least you don't support one of the Glasgow Arsecheeks.
What a miserable existence that would be.
You say that, but my other half and my kid support Celtic and they seem pretty happy most of the time.

JML had a couple of decent moments when he ran at the defence but neither he nor Ashford has created a good chance for a teammate in some time.

Dipo certainly didn't seem to fancy anyone else to score.

I like how Dipo missed the exact same chance he missed at the end of the 0-0 at Raith. Fitting.

McLean living up to expectations

Ayr are so lightweight

Are we really pretending McLean will allow Ayr to win this one? Lol.

No reason not to win the last three and sneak second place. If the Play-off opponents are Queen's Park then Kilmarnock you'd fancy Ayr's chances. Comedy ending to a comedy season.

He'd get played on the fucking wing anyway.
Makes sense, move Ashford through the middle as the primary striker and sign a striker to play wide. Can see it now.

A shame game was on the cards after the first 20 minutes but Partick seemed to be happy with the game at 1-0 and let us right back into it. We were better in the first half although besides Dipo we don’t have the quality going forward to really hurt teams.
My worry is that we’ll bring Maguire back into the fold for the next game but the only change I’d make is JML in for Ashford and Smith in for McAlear.
Ah c'mon, you know he'll start the team that finished this one because the second half went well.

Not sure. Morton would pass us by beating Cove.
