Who would they have started instead then? He did not magically become shite just because he had a couple of below par games. He was hardly the worst offender in the Falkirk game. The whole team was shite in that game.
To be fair, he did give away a needless penalty for the equaliser then scored their winner. It’s not outrageous to say he was the worst offender in that one.

Can people stop saying Limmy's Show came on after the football please. It was Still Game first, as is always the case on a Friday night after the football, then Limmy's Show.
Listen, if people can't even get the BBC Scotland channel schedule right then why should we consider their views on the conduct of the manager?

I think that last night was worse than Falkirk, well the two games were. Because it offers a pretty good insight into what next season will look like unlike there's radical changes in the squad or Bullen's management. Very easily could end up doing an Arbroath.
Or worse

I'm still in awe at how many balls were allowed across our six yard box without any kind of defensive intervention. 4D chess no doubt.

@Iain Red-dotted, thanks for that. As I said - mostly.

These last two games, it's genuinely felt like I was watching a Campbell Money team heading for relegation, not a playoff for promotion
That is the team that's most similar to the current one - one sellable striker and not a lot else worth writing home about. This year's group at least managed to avoid being comprehensively overmatched until the last week or so.

Never have to watch that Ayr team again. Assuming nobody gets me the "Second Place Heroes - No Play-off Edition" dvd for my birthday.

Just ignoring fouls on the keeper now?

Last week looking like a stellar effort at this point

Partick's players love an unnecessary roll on the grass

I've enjoyed having a year without relegation worries, stress levels are down. These are the days.

It shows how gutless this Ayr team is that nobody has done anything about Muirhead yet.

Time to break a few legs

Tiffoney, Fitzpatrick and Turner have acres of space at all times. Not sure I'm confident about that strategy.

McAllister is struggling

Still can't defend I see.

I think we need to take a step back though in order to make the next step up. Currently the gap between top end Championship and top flight seems too big for us without an overhaul.
Realistically, I don't think it's possible to build a premier league team without a premier league budget. We're never going to go up with a team already equipped to compete in the next league.

Define better though.
Its all about results, I don't really care how we get them.
If it was all about results you'd be as well watching the games on ceefax!

Very limited fan spaces left , go to website to see how to apply to play , each team will have 6 of the above in your team and the other 6 playing against youLooks like the fans will be providing the width. No doubt in more ways than one.

What about the best pub grub in Ayr, never actually had anything other than drink when i'm down there, except pies in the Wallace which were very good. But chances are I'll be going down earlier and fancy sampling what culinary delights Ayr has to offer.
Taking a break from quinoa and artisan bread etc...
Tempura on Parkhouse St is my current favourite. Not great if you don't like tempura though.

I don't believe there was any conspiracy or subterfuge around Dipo not playing, but the idea that it would take a number of people to manufacture such a scenario is unnecessary. All it would take is the player to say 'my back still hurts too much to play'. He really doesn't seem the kind of guy to do that though, if it weren't true.

In terms of next season we’re probably looking at needing something like this.
Albinson
New RB
New CB
Musonda/McGinty
New LB
Dempsey
Murdoch
New CM
Mullin
New ST
New LW
Subs,
New GK, McAllister, New DEF, Reading, Smith, New MID, JML, McKenzie, New FW
Thats probably being ambitious as it’s unlikely Reading will bother hanging about if we actively sign a left back but in that case Ecrepont would just take his place. Think it’s far more likely that Ecrepont is given a chance in the league cup and if he does well enough then he’ll be in ahead of Reading.
I think they'll prioritise retaining players who were involved in what the club feels was a successful season, so:
Albinson
McAllister - Musonda - McGinty - Reading
Murdoch - Dempsey - Smith
Mitchell Lawson - McKenzie - Ashford
as the presumptive starting line-up.

Ayr appointing Davidson is an SRE level rumour.
