  1. Was anything mentioned at AGM about ground upgrade - pitch aside?
  2. another goal and that is goal difference wiped out
  3. Typical make changes and concede quickly
  4. Speaking of Stephen Humphries long range goal columnist Gordon Parks states it was a special goal but he had once played in a Clyde game where Stevie (Snowy) Morrison scored against Queens of the South from further out than the length of Sauchiehall Street. Anyone remember this goal?
  5. tempo right from the start was high as within the first few minutes, quickly taken throw ins, keeper playing it out quickly, quick free kick and forcing Edinburgh to play ball quickly and make mistakes. This set temp for whole of game although I thought it dropped after scoring. Movement and first time passes and players taking the ball in difficult positions and driving forward. What a change.
  6. the trialist didn't last very long at Annan if he's back at Palmerston already
  7. Looks like Wilson is out on saturday with his dead leg but scan has shown wasn't anything more severe. Connelly who had been training went to hit a shot and felt his groin again and although expected to be back training again the main group tomorrow, saturday will be too early
  8. will be players be in doing extra training and work tomorrow. may be an idea to get them to Palmerston to get players more used to the pitch that always seems to make a fool of them
  9. Did we not get new manager bounce on Tuesday night?
  10. Everyone has an opinion and everyone is a perfect manager but only one makes the decisions that matters. I'm pleased manager has identified weaknesses in our team, wasn't difficult, and wouldn't WG have come to the same conclusions with regards centre half and keeper. WG may even have identified the same players although them having Hibs links that's doubtful. Should you go for youth and unexperienced or age and experience new signing van work out well or they can flop or be joe average. You never can tell when they are signed what they will turn out like. Wasn't there a dreadful signing about 14years who had been out on loan at Dunbarton after failing to have made it at Hibs. Whatever happened to him? Who were signings in the past you looked forward playing for Queens who flopped and who did you fear who made you change your mind?
  11. Some people are never happy - last week unhappy when Queens won a game and got 3pts but played awful. This week played so much better, creating many more chances but lost. Is it better to play well and lose than to play worse and win?
  12. I thought Muir may have got chance when McKay went off at half time. Don't think Hendrie was cut out to play in a back three and Rico was poor at left wing back. Hendrie is better going forward than defending
  13. Is it a fitness thing - both physically and mentally?
  14. Why would he sign a right back when we don't play with a traditional back 4?
  15. Just saying everyone has been berating McKenna then he misses a game and we lose 5. Don't think he is our worst defender
  16. Front row at Ibrox is worse when stuck in the corner
  17. Would this not of been the chance Ryan Muir could have been waiting on. Seem to be short of defenders today
  18. Who is on the pens tomorrow if we get one? Murray? will he place it where he normally places them or will he now change his routine after going public with how he hits them.......maybe a double bluff
  19. big chance to be giant killers in the cup in beating a team in league above us
  20. the old hoof the ball up the pitch tactic
  21. Has Dougie Doonhamer picked up an injury or retired as he has not been seen recently? Has he been dropped?
  22. Thought the reaction of QOS fans before the second goal was interesting. Currie had the ball in our box and was in absolutely no hurry to play the ball anywhere, seemed content to time waste and play out time. The QOS fans were unhappy that was ball was not being played quicker. What happened was that Peterhead were forced up the pitch to make Currie pick up the ball. Once picked up a ball played McKenna (I think), who played it long to Reilly to slid in Todd to score. The fact Currie hesitated in starting the move maybe caused Peterhead to temporary switch off and allowed QOS to score. The fans didn't like it until the ball hit the back of the net
  23. Doesn't sound as if he his injured 'I didn't select myself in the team and that's it'
  24. not much interest in this match tonight. the future is not looking bright. thought these 3 games were a chance to climb the table and get wins and points on the score board but looks like a relegation fight once again
