The number of questions a leader gets corresponds with the number of seats they have. I think it's 5 seats you have to have to guarantee a question every week, the Lib Dems only have 4 seats. Regan will be treated like any backbencher wanting to ask a question.

Yep - a minority Party - no guaranteed FMQ or proper Party Political Broadcasts.

Probably around the same time as being member of armed forces was ratcheted up as heros as Iraq propaganda.

IMO that's kinda when Remembrance changed in the UK as a whole - the general public were largely opposed to the Iraq war but supported the troops.

Unfortunately it didn't take long for that sentiment to be highjacked and twisted into a show of nationalism

We're a long way from the solemn, quiet and dignified act of Remembrance that the Poppy used to, and should, represent.

  3. We got a joint account when we got a mortgage - it seems bizarre to me that there are married couples who don't!

I know of a couple where the fella hadn't changed what he put into the 'spending' account in years and his partner ran up a humongous credit card bill just trying to run the house cause she was shit scared to ask him to up his contribution! He cleared the bill with spare cash he had sploshing around in his own account ... and now she fucking owes him it!! Absolutely fucking mental!!

Cameras showing an Inter fan comforting his greetin’ weans. I’m deeply hopeful that all over Italy, there were fans of their diddy teams, the Italian versions of Morton or Forfar shouting ‘get it fcukin’ up ye’, fcuking gloryhunting kunts’ at the telly. In Italian. Obviously.

Juve are the team of choice for Italian glory hunters.

  5. So anyhoo, just messing around with this for the first time and I asked it to write a pieandbovril post about Falkirk FC, it's certainly not bang on the money but it's probably better than some of the 'unartificial' intelligence that currently posts on here:

Title: Falkirk FC - The Rising Force in Scottish Football!

    Hey fellow PieandBovril enthusiasts,

I wanted to take a moment to shine the spotlight on a team that's been making some serious waves in Scottish football - none other than Falkirk FC! This club has been on a remarkable journey in recent years, and it's high time we give credit where credit is due.

First and foremost, let's talk about their incredible fanbase. The Falkirk faithful are some of the most passionate and dedicated supporters you'll ever come across. Rain or shine, they pack the stands at The Falkirk Stadium, creating an electrifying atmosphere that gives their team an extra edge on the pitch. The vocal support is truly a sight to behold and speaks volumes about the club's rich history and strong community ties.

Now, onto the team itself. Falkirk FC has shown tremendous resilience and determination, bouncing back from setbacks and displaying an unwavering fighting spirit. Their recent performances have been nothing short of impressive, as they consistently challenge the established teams in their division. With a blend of experienced heads and talented youngsters, Falkirk is building a squad that is both exciting to watch and capable of achieving great things.

One key aspect that sets Falkirk apart is their commitment to nurturing young talent. The club's youth academy has been a breeding ground for emerging stars, with several players making their mark not only at Falkirk but also on the national stage. This focus on youth development bodes well for the future, as it ensures a steady supply of talented players and the potential for even greater success.

Off the pitch, Falkirk FC has been making strides as well. The club has been proactive in engaging with the community, hosting events and initiatives that bring people together. Their dedication to promoting grassroots football and supporting local causes deserves applause.

As Falkirk continues to grow and evolve, it's important for Scottish football fans to recognize the impact this club is making. They are a rising force, a team that's not afraid to challenge the status quo and make their mark on the national football scene. So, let's rally behind Falkirk FC, celebrate their successes, and keep an eye on their journey as they aim for even greater heights.

Here's to Falkirk FC - a club on the rise and a true embodiment of the spirit of Scottish football!

We got a pass Navigo, which allowed unlimited usage of the Metro/RER and buses (except the bus to Paris Orly). Costs just over 22 euros, plus an additional 5 Euros for the card. You also need to give them a passport-sized photo.

I hadn't realised that it required a photo until we were buying them - Ned Jnr handed over his driving licence and the scanned and printed the picture fpr him ... I ended up taking a selfie and sending it to them electronically - not sure if every station would be so helpful but ours certainly was

A ride designed to drive people insane…

Our ride queue times were all fairly decent, generally around 25 - 30 minutes, but Small World was well over an hour so we binned it - I guess the time of year meant it was mostly families with younger kids so that area of the park was busier than the rest.
