  1. I know this thread's primarily about the building group but my favourite Stuart Milne thing is when he exited Hampden close to tears because Stuart Gilmour & Roy Mcgregor scuppered his league reconstruction hopes

And they only managed it because Stuart Milne himself kyboshed scrapping the 11/1 vote

    What a fucking tool.

    Glorious:

I have a vague memory of a 'near-thing' unbeaten season that St Mirren ended - my half-arsed googling hasn't thrown anything up though (I guess it must've been an 'unbeaten at home' run if anything 🤔)

**I'm in no way suggesting we'll manage to go the rest of this season unbeaten of course**

    Found it - 2004/5

St Mirren halted an unbeaten at home season with Queens making it two home defeats a couple of weeks later in the last game of the season.

One of the first times I've heard the main stand catch on to the songs from the ultras. It spreads through the whole stadium now and is getting everyone up and buzzing.

There's a chance, cause I was one of them, that the South Stand selling out as early as it did meant there were quite a few in the main stand who'd normally be in the KM7.

They're trying their best, 49th mass shooting in 45 days this year.

P.S. Reportedly 2 of the gunmen fired their weapons from inside their rucksacks.

    Some of the comments ffs

NRA types falling over themselves to point out that this particular mass shooting involved an illegal gun 🤷🏻‍♂️

  6. What if there's a lengthy delay for something like an injury while there's a  player in the bin? He might only miss about 3 minutes of actual game play!

What if he's injured on his way to the bin 🤔

What if a player gives the ref dog's abuse while being substituted ... does he have to stay on but not be on the park?

Where do they find these absolute losers that are "royal commentators" the news and radio are absolutely full of these freaks just now, one was on BBC Radio Scotland going on about how Harry will be begging for money when she was meant to be talking about jug ears cancer.

    Royal losers you say!?

Being a Scottish football forum we should really mention this guy and all the other staunch oddballs who walk amongst us.

    Norman Jewison, film director. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2024/jan/22/norman-jewison-dead-director-moonstruck

He'll be looking forward to being 'In The Heat of The Cremator'.

ETA - 'In The Heat Of The Night' is currently available on BBC iPlayer. I suspect most folk have seen it but for those who haven't, you've got 6 days to catch a classic Oscar winning film. Steiger and Poitier on top form.

Sounds very regimented and bland tbqhwy.

What about for an away game with a big travel time, does that still blow your mind that people eat outside their own houses?

It's a rarety tbh but for Queens recently we popped into KFC beforehand - was very nice, they've improved their chips - miles better than a pie in a cold stadium.
