In a country of Scotland’s size there is zero need for 4 national leagues. Two. Three at most.

Agree and disagree at the same time with you and find your point to be very central belt biased as you will get to the majority of the venues around 1.5 hours, with the odd exception. I think we need three top leagues of around 12 teams and 2 regional tier 4 leagues to stop the Stranraer v Elgin situation which lots of clubs in tier 5 and below won’t find appealing or affordable.

As a neutral, and having watched Pollok defeat Talbot in the West semi, I expected Darvel to win comfortably. At a point when Talbot were well on top, the referee missed a blatant foul only to then award a penalty which changed the game. For me a draw would have been a fair result and on that showing I would say Pollok were better than either of them.

    Aye but Pollok are out

Everyone knows that Talbot don’t want to play in the LL.Pointless football club not interested in progressing but want the money from the real Scottish Cup.

Only 2 teams have ever finished above Talbot in the WOSL, fully licensed club and carry a good fan base and live within their means. Not really sure how you can get so upset about this.

Think I’m going to call it on the mud slinging. I personally think no one knows the full story on certain events - yes including me rhubs - and the rumours and 💩 flying about are just each other point scoring to defend our own clubs. Nothing wrong with that but when it gets to this level it does none of us any good. We all love our clubs - except you rhubs - and big them up where we can and slag off others when we start attacking people personally - whether they deserve it or not - and talk about brown envelopes and players not getting paid and gate splits conspiracies (including me) it becomes more harmful than good. Remember players have families, committees have families, it’s people’s jobs we are talking about, and yes I’m as guilty as anyone but somewhere in between all these stories there’s the truth. It’s just none of us know it.

So will you admit that any allegations of dishonesty against other clubs over sharing gate money is unfounded and without substance?

Nobody is bad mouthing Talbot just stating facts that everyone knows.

Please tell the forum which game Auchinleck Talbot have not been honest with any money received at the gates? This is very similar to a post your outgoing president put on Facebook last year labelling Talbot dishonest, tax cheats and the most hated club in the league!!! It was an astonishing rant by an official against another team. Also complete nonsense without one bit of evidence.

Very different from the opinions at the start of the season. Goes to show that sometimes a short step back leads to a big leap forward. For about an hour today it was a contest but when the second went in Cumnock capitulated. Heads went down and Talbot looked capable of scoring every time they went forward. While it’s an outside chance the league isn’t lost. Beith are clear favourites but Talbot and Darvel are worth a couple of quid at the bookies.

We have strengthened since the start of the season where we were not scoring but not losing goals. The change in depth has started with Glasgow, Urquhart, McAvoy signing giving us better depth. Add in Schonville returning from injury and Gillies, Boyd hitting a bit of form. Then add in the existing good players we have like McPherson, Armstrong, Wardrope and Smith we have a lot to look forward to as all these players have their best years ahead of them still.

Talbot are on fire and I can see them really making a great fist of the league,  the proverbial winners and they are the ones that everyone tries to emulate season after season......

I agree but just think when the midweek games and the cup semi finals kick in it will be a struggle. All about points on the board at this stage.
