  1. You are allowed to comment but a dig at Talbot fans for “harsh treatment” you must be really bored
  2. No really sure why you are that bothered about it to be honest
  3. I thought and said on here at the early part of the season that he was one of our best performers this season. A player that will play on confidence and needs encouragement from our fans. Another good option to have at the back playing him in the centre.
  4. Wins and win by whatever means, well done to young Glavin for saving 2 penalties, difficult gig for a young keeper making his way in the game.
  5. Would take staying up and kicking on for next season
  6. Good to get another win, looking around our league this should be a reality check for us fans let us appreciate our outstanding committee and management team.
  7. To be fair can u blame us? Your president went out of his way to try and antagonise a great bunch of people and pick a fight with very well respected men at this level. His stupid antics on the video after winning the league, clicker gate and media attempts. He said on a media piece that people were calling them the Man City of the juniors!! I think it was only him who was doing this. I won’t mention the tapping of signed players!! Said all along it’s the real long term Darvel fans I feel sorry for and hope you can pick your club up again with the original values as this has been a hard watch for the last few years!!
  8. I thought Andy leaving Talbot was mutual between both parties due to the service he gave us. I would be surprised
  9. Couldn’t make it today progress?
  10. Disagree slightly that after the second game we could all see we needed another striker and it took us to a fortnight ago to get him in. But to be fair it was quality we were calling out for and if it took to then to get the right player we can put up with that. That coincided with McCracken coming back in and we look a far better team already.
  11. Think the vast majority were behind Tucker, but probably frustrated about the pace of some of the recruitment but we are going in the right direction again
  12. Tradition and history adds to the value of the cup for me, that’s why I still think it’s the best non league cup in the country. I get that other cups have tier 5 clubs as my team have also won that cup at a financial loss, this didn’t seem to excite as much and don’t know if it’s the lack of tv coverage or lack of history in the cup. I would like to see a national competition from tier 5 for the whole country, but until that is here it will always be the SJC that I want to win before other cup competitions.
  13. I’ve seen some great games in that tournament over the past 40 years, seen whole communities lifted when they are fortunate enough to win it. If that makes me a muppet in your eyes feel free I prefer to call myself a football fan.
  14. Best non league tournament in the country
  15. Agree we shouldn’t have a loan keeper as we could lose him at any time but didn’t think the boy put a foot wrong yesterday in a big match for him
  16. Never noticed that but really impressed with the performance and hearing hopefully the manager still looked to strengthen us.
  17. Probably not enough said about Talbots second half performance yesterday, to come from behind and score 3 goals against the holders in a derby, is back to what we like to see. Think we will kick on from here.
  18. Serious question has last seasons Darvel social media team went to East Kilbride as it seems very similar?
  19. Doubling the wages of the ex Talbot players after their testimonials!!
  20. Probably agree with that to a fair. Where was Boylan today?
  21. Yes thinks he needs rotated out for his own development but not quite as harsh as your language
