Asked the club to leave for which we got a good fee, we won a cup last season, but not in a good place this season. This might be the bounce we need and bring in a couple of the injured players due back we get hopefully turn a corner. -

Probably a bit of a change in landscape to be honest, influenced by inflated finances. Think some LL teams now operating in the same market as the WOS teams. Probably too much change too soon, the game has changed as well with fitness coaches, sports science and better scouting networks. I think Talbot will need to look at changing scouting, recruitment policies and introduce new elements to the wider team on the football side to support the manager, that will allow him to concentrate more on the football side as well as having the final say for the team related matters. Think we need to try and consolidate this season anything at the moment outside the relegation zone is the target and start the rebuild in a more structured and planned manner. Hopefully Tucker has the appetite to change along with the way the game is at this level as the standard of player is better than previous years in my opinion. -

Strange post about a group of volunteers in a difficult climate you will know nothing about. -

Changing managers not always the way of the club, everything far from rosey but that would be a massive decision at the moment, would never criticise them as well as they are one of the main reasons for our success over the years. -

Very flat at Beechwood on the terraces and the pitch, I think we were lacking up top whichbut our midfield also looking sluggish through the middle. Hopefully Boylan will get better with games and another new striker required still who is going to take a bit of pressure off Smith and Boyd. Young Thomson has had a decent run in the team but in my opinion could be doing with being rotated out and used off the bench for a few weeks. Good to see McCracken on the bench yesterday and hear Schonville training and hopefully he can get his Talbot career up and running. -

Struggling to understand why a striker who scored 4 goals last week got 5 minutes today. -

Still think we will go through some rough patches if we don’t pick up a goalscorer who is going to get you 15 league goals, into the winter in the tougher conditions when games are attritional you need that player who is going to take a half chance. I still think we are missing that type at the moment. -

Think it was 2003/2004 Tuckers first season, Gavin Friels hatrick away to Maryhill to stay up. -
Rangers fan?

So if a fan says it. That means it’s gospel?? This is money from a separate club which the fans contribute to which is not only for transfers as will also contribute to contracts, so in theory the community owned model as opposed to a sugar daddy type which I know is a way many clubs are going down. I am a member but didn’t attend the meeting so don’t know what the figure is, as like anything it may not always be disposable? I also don’t think these are the places for club business or we can open a new thread and we can all guess each others budget then take it as gospel!! Talbot do need a few players but what I will say there will be a lot of dissapointed clubs at the end of the season who have spent a fortune and only fighting for a place in a play off.

Can we get O’Donnell then -
I heard Clydebank have 100K for transfers no sources revealed, but it must now be gospel now

In short yes with McCracken, Schonville and Boylan to come into the team. But this won’t be soon for the 3 of them, we need to sign two physical forwards who can finish!!
-
We were really poor the second half there is no denying that
-
Hatred dripping out of you with that post some of those cup finals must have left real indelible hurt in you, hope you get over it at some point. All the best.
-
Bankies grab 3 points in a game where both teams lacked quality, Talbot really lack a cutting edge and giving opposition keepers nothing to do, we need to accept we are in transition with realistic expectations but things need change either shape and additions still required in forward areas.

Think Thomson looks a right good prospect and Boyd really needing a goal. Also unlucky with the Schoneville injury as he may turn out a good player for us. It takes time to settle at Talbot and these players have been thrown in.
