Would also throw Kilbirnie into that with Spenny and Lyle there as an option -

Think he was offered to prove his fitness after a good few seasons of in and out the team probably since the covid break to be honest. Not one I would want to lose to be honest if fit, but looks like he has decided to try and get a contract elsewhere now. With the calibre of the players now confirmed as having left, some big signings will be expected by all over the next few weeks. -

Think Shankland will stay to be honest once he has proved his fitness, agree re Taylor, Samson, Stafford and Mason first 3 all have reasons beyond managers control, surprised with Mason as was confident he would be a big player for us next season. -

I take it you asked some probing questions and said your piece re your dissatisfaction about how some things have been handled recently? If so fair doos as that’s the place to do it and not on football forums. -

Committees will always be looking for new members, however the Talbot committee have been outstanding for over 40 years and deserve as much credit as the players and management teams keeping us at the top of this level for all this time. -

Excellent achievement at Beith last season. Difference with Talbot is that we are in a bit of transition and players will be offered big money from other clubs if they hear Talbot are interested. Interesting few months ahead. -

I want my club to play at the highest possible level now we are supposedly in a fair pyramid!! What I don’t want though is the club to put themself in financial difficulty by keeping up with some crazy wages being handed out!! -

Not enough fitba being played to keep everyone’s mind occupied. I think our management team deserve a bit of respect here, coming up for 20 years in the post, that’s 20 years at the top of this level of football and probably had to build 4 or 5 teams, players who break into the Talbot team young play around 60 games a season where every opposition treat it like a cup final playing Talbot, that’s what comes with being at the top and it takes its toll on you!! Most players who reach testimonials with us probably only get a season after that, Latta,Spence, Young, Whitey are examples. Tuckers experience means he knows when to move players on he is proven at it. The big blow for me is losing Stafford and Taylor who a young with loads of potential. The question now is if the replacements are ready now and like for like which will be difficult to find or potential to be brought on by the experienced players such as McCracken, McPherson, Armstrong and Wardrope. I think we all need to wait and hear from the club and see who we bring in within our sustainable budget to ensure the club is financially managed as best as we can be. -

AGM next week which is an open and transparent meeting where you get the opportunity to ask questions direct to the manager and executive committee. -

As I’ve said in previous posts Tucker is the master in knowing the right time to move players on, he has a proven track record at this!! Both of the players mentioned are Talbot legends and always will be remembered as this. We also need to accept as Talbot fans if we are building a new team within a reasonable budget this could take a couple of seasons -

The best goalkeeper at this level for many years, fantastic servant to Auchinleck Talbot, legend of the club who will be remembered for years to come I will be sorry to see him go and will be weird to see Talbot without big Andy in nets. However our manger who is also a legend is a master on deciding when the the time is right !! -

That would be good along with a good social media footprint for match updates. -
Talbot have released Lewis Crawford and Jamie Ballantyne. Chris Stafford is moving to USA and Ross Taylor signed for Stenhousemuir. No confirmed incoming as yet

Talbot in decline finish second in this tough league two years in a row and win another trophy this season. Been some rough times this season and a difficult fixture list, hope we keep who we need to keep and strengthen to win this league next season. -

A lot of people looking for an over hall but still may finish second two seasons in a row. Think we still have the makings of a good squad, but a couple of regular starters may leave if the team are to progress. I would say around 4/5 may leave. -
Could you not still win it one day?

Why do loads of Bankies fans show no affinity or respect for an level of football that provided you with a chance to play football again?
