  1. There's nothing from the player perspective as if they were in game controlling a character. It's just cut scenes from various camera angles. It's pish and I don't understand why people get so excited about games from cut scenes. The gameplay could well be poor.
  2. I know what to say - that's fucking shite. Shows no actual gameplay, just cut scenes.
  3. Cormier v Nelson then it seems. I seem to remember getting a lot of guffaws a few months back for suggesting that this fight should go ahead
  4. Now that was a lucky escape for Jones, title-wise. Completely deserved win of course, Sonnen didn't have the strength to compete on the floor as expected. Epic overhand cricket bowl KO from Big Country. Did Kongo throw a punch? Abysmal fighter at this level. Kudos to Roy for holding back on throwing a further pummeling punch while Kongo was temporarily out with his head on the canvas. Davis impressive with his hands and movement. Bisping comfortable, but again looks short of power.
  5. Soooo... anywhere to watch this online?
  6. Can't see Sonnen doing anything against Jones. I don't think he's physically strong enough against Jones to make any ground game he does manage to get actually pay off. Jones TKO by the 2nd round.
  7. If they fought this weekend, I'd put my imaginary house on Cain going through him like a train, a right royal beasting. No doubt whatsoever. It surprises me just how little respect Cain gets relative to the other big names in MMA.Silva v Jones is what most of the MMA world wants to see while they're both in good shape, hope to fcuk it happens.
  8. Oh, and Zingano may be the happiest/highest I've ever seen a fighter after a win. Heart-warming viewing
  9. Finally caught up with the TUF Finale and Saturday's UFC. Tate v Zigano was brilliant, perhaps my Fight of the Year so far. That's both of the UFC women's fights been tremendous entertainment, more please! Reckon Zigano can take Roussey if she can stay away from the submissions. Strong as hell, though took a while to get into gear. Felt sorry for Tate, absolute warrior. Gastelum's massive heart and aggression gives him that well deserved win against Hall, though it was super-close. Hall needs to drop the showboating crap. Browne v Gonzaga - hilarious KO, but beating Gab doesn't really tell us that much. Melendez v Henderson - had Melendez 3-2 ahead, 1st, 2nd and 5th. Henderson is a fcuking infuriating fighter to watch, spending half the time tending to his hair. Cut that shit and concentrate on the fight Cormier was uninspiring, Mir hopeless. I don't know where Mir goes from here. Both this and the Browne v Gonzaga fights underlines for me that Cain and Junior are miles ahead of everyone else in the division. Thomson was awesome. More, please.
  10. She keeps good company eh, what with Churchill being a warmongering criminal.
  11. Anderson class out of the ring, visiting a possibly crippled-for-life boy in hospital: The lad did wrestling for a while and said Silva was his favourite sports star.
  12. Gutted. Would've been a great measure of the real state of both him and Moussasi.
  13. Silva over GSP (just), Jones over Silva (reasonably handily).
  14. While I agree with that, Diaz didn't ever look to be in trouble. Dominated in just about every aspect, yes. On the verge of being finished, no. The whole time on the ground you could see Diaz just riding it out comfortably, waiting until he could get back up. Let's not forget he also snuffed out a good number of GSP's takedown attempts in later rounds, and also got up quite quickly from a number of GSPs takedowns, almost unheard of from GSP's opponents. GSP ain't the killer he used to be, but he is (even moreso than before) a smarter percentage fighter. Like I said before, you either knock him out or you lose handily on round-by-round scoring.
  15. Cote v Voelker was my fight of the night, fantastic entertainment. Condit v Hendricks also excellent with Condit just not quite doing enough work in the opening rounds to snatch it. Still, damn close fight and will be great to see if Hendricks can pressure GSP into mistakes. Actually, it still looks like the only way to beat GSP is with a lucky haymaker settting up a barrage of strikes, so Hendricks and Ellenberger are as good as anyone to do that.
  16. Absolute fanboy nonsense in my book, but we'll agree to disagree and hope for a good scrap.
  17. Liverpool finally finding some form and guts. Good to see!
  18. The only way I see Hunt having even a chance is a JDS confidence/preparation meltdown. JDS is two or three levels ahead of old-school Hunt in every aspect of MMA, including Hunt's forte of striking. I really cannot see how Hunt has a chance if JDS goes in properly prepared. I hope I'm wrong as I'd prefer to see a war rather than Hunt being used as a punchbag.
  19. This is the biggest high-profile mismatch in a very long time. JDS wins 99 times out of 100. (cue Hunt ko-ing JDS in the 1st round )
  20. Fcuking hell, Silva-Stann was wild!

    Dota 2

The G-1 League finals are on this Saturday 9th March. Dota-wise, this means the long-awaited final between the Chinese team iG (probably the best etam in the world) and the multinationality LGD.int (who have been training in China for the last 5 months or so), both teams having some of the best players in the world. Best of 5, should be a fcking cracker, moreso as it's being held at a 20,000 capacity arena! Stream live at http://twitch.tv/beyondthesummit from around noon GMT.
  22. For prepubescents and simple minds, perhaps.
  23. Rousey v FaberCarmouche was brilliant action, thouroughly enjoyable. A Rousey v Cyborg superfight really has to be made to happen somehow... strict doping testing included.
