  1. A bold claim, however results have been excellent against Premier opposition.

Not sure if this is down to teams taking them lightly and changing line-ups etc.

Only time will tell, but with an alleged budget to rival most in the EoS that could be sooner than later as they progress through the leagues..

  2. Creetown completed their application before deadline, which has been approved and are eligible to play in a playoff.

If Creetown win league play off (EoS v SoS) dates are 20th May home and 27th May away.

If Darvel or Talbot win then EoS winner would play South Winner at home on 20th and West winner away on 27th May.

The club and players have never been the problem this season. Well, other than some silly avoidable player suspensions.

Again, the players have never really been the problem this season. The recruitment wasn’t even the issue. It was the constant and often needless tinkering with the team. I don’t think it’s at all wild to suggest that the lack of continuity in the starting 11 is directly linked to the lack of consistency in performances and points.

Tick tock, much like your ticker.

Mind when you walked away from your team Auld Gravy Blood? You’re a laughing stock. Stick to throwing your considerable weight around your own team’s (when it suits) thread.

Aww diddums - are you raging?

Sticks and stones, your personal attacks don't bother me, I'm an adult afterall I can take it, without resorting to stalking posts with Red Dots.

I know the club is largely run by volunteers so I want to be clear that I'm not blaming them for this, but the club could be better at advertising this stuff and how to sign up around the town and the ground. I've been heading to games for a couple years now after moving to Bo'ness and other than the Treasure Chest in Tesco I haven't seen much - I'm not on FB so I don't know if the info is available there about things like the United Club.

The big side in Bo'ness aren't backwards at promoting themselves on social media etc.

Clear which team is progressing and which one regressing.

    Tick Tock.

This Scotsman article from a few days ago says

"As it stands, Rose would compete in a two-legged play-off with South of Scotland leaders Creetown – currently going through the process to obtain their SFA license – for a place in the fifth tier, as current West of Scotland leaders Beith, are an unlicensed club.".

The LL league rules for what they are worth state the licence has to have been obtained by 31st of March unless the team have been granted a waiver. So possibly they may have been granted a waiver and the door is still open.

The lack of transparency is making a further mockery of an already broken pyramid system.

A pyramid system which isn't fluid and has to many separate parts SPFL / LL / EOS, WOS, SOS etc etc each trying to fend off the league below.

I see the Lowland League have voted to retain the 3 B teams for next season - to the surprise of no one. Bullied into it by the SFA who threatened to impose a conference league above the LL and HL if they voted against it.

Maxwell needs to be removed and replaced by someone who supports a proper pyramid.

Good post, whilst I'm in favour of something that develops B Teams, however the LL isn't the solution.

Definitely an area we need to strengthen if we go up, although Connor showed a very able deputy last night!

    McMullan was immense last night.

I also think Webb / Allison have developed a good partnership.

If anything we need to ensure our sitting midfielder isn't playing to far forwards when we aren't in possession.

Where and who spied on him  ?

    A signing out of nowhere.

Young lad wi bags of potential, good wi the ball at his feet and can play anywhere not just centre half.

Disappointed to see him go. Good luck to the lad.

A deal out the blue, good to see we are being proactive in signing for next season.

I note you reckon not just a central defender, which isn't for me a priority position.

I’m not sure about that. Sauchie, Jeanfield, Musselburgh and although they’ve dropped off slightly Penicuik could hold there own as well as us against the west. Darvel and Talbot consistently good where the others are up and down.

it’s an absolute must that they open up the LL or create a LL2 to accommodate though, pyramid needs correcting. Funnily enough this would suggest Cowdenbeath and the Shire heading towards the EOS.

If you look at results from this season involving EoS v WoS then form would suggest WoS hold the balance.

Sauchie lost 4 v 1 at home to Drumchapel on Saturday being the most recent example.

Personally if we are promoted to LL, my concern is it may feel like a step back until a few more teams are promoted from WoS.

  10. Our current squad have done well both individually and as a group and currently sit top of the league on merit so all credit to both the players and management.

We have regularly beat teams from the lowland league, where overall the standard is poor - proof being the plight of teams relegated to EoS.  So I'd have no doubt our current squad would be competitive in the LL.

I would question if we would sit top 5 if regularly playing WoS opponents.  Results between EoS and WoS this season suggest there is still possibly a gap in favour of WoS.

Is linlithgow. Camelon rose because actually the same thing happened where they took management and all their team.

If syngenta had have had an operation to run a senior team they could have continued but because they didn't that's why they folded. I love the pot calling the kettle stuff from the camelon rose faithful

Don't recall our actions putting another club out of business.

Strangely enough, I heard it being discussed on Sunday at the final, which is why I posted the info I have.

Whilst in a great position, nothing settled, with tough games ahead, I'm pretty sure Sauchie haven't given up.

Personally I'd still like the play-offs to continue. I'd also like to see more than one LL team relegated per season.

Those highlights don't do the second goal justice.

From behind that's as good a goal as ive seen all season, from the second Thomson hit it, it was going in.

For a mid week that was a cracking away support in a crowd of around 250-300 with a lot of those being travelling fans.

The slowed down replay of the 2nd goal gives some context how sweet a hit it was. As still looked a rocket...!!!

Getting the wee rose in the league would be icing on the cake, even if it is by default. Why can’t Beith be promoted?

At least our promotion would give the Wee Bo'ness a decent attendance.

As going by current attendances most of the Wee Bo'ness supporters seem to now follow Linlithgow Thistle / Bo'ness Athletic.

Beith and Creetown who currently lead WoS and SoS aren't licensed so neither eligible for promotion to LL.

Apparently Rose wouldn’t agree to this. Said at Linlithgow or a neutral venue, seems like they didn’t want to risk the trip, match on the Astro

Can't say I'm disappointed, not a fan of playing on plastic pitches.

Whitehill is an ideal surface and bang in the middle for both.
