  1. TJ may apply after the SJFA - AGM when hopefully he will have time on his hands...!!!!!!!!
  2. In addition what have the PWG achieved so far? (Not sure how long they have been around - tbh) We are where we are due to the actions of teams not the governing bodies. Fully functioning Governing Bodies should lead not follow.
  3. Maybe time for the EoS to have a rethink. When your opponent is down you go for the kill. Offer all the remaining East juniors an opportunity to move en bloc. Tayside teams don't deserve to be penalised because of TJ
  4. If the West had been more minded for change past playing on their own door steps...!!
  5. A TJ innovation from the past - which the West teams didn't want as involved them travelling outside Glasgow/Ayrshire. Sadly such thinking aloud suggestions from TJ only muddy the waters for teams with doubts and then get passed on as FACT. If TJ had anything about him - he would have twigged the SJFA were in the perfect position to swallow up the SoS and EoS back in the day when the LL was first talked about. Now the shoe is firmly on the foot of the EoS and they have not missed the chance.
  6. Linlithgow Rose are now entering the debate - so anyways what's this Triangle thing all about?
  7. There is a post on our forum suggesting the Chair denied there would be a meeting.
  8. I don't know why you keep referencing Linlithgow. There is absolutely no movement to even discuss a move that I'm aware off.
  9. The world hasn't moved on much in Linlithgow. Our members are still ill informed on this matter.
  10. This is now being denied or certainly is far from clear.
  11. They are unlikely to discuss it before their weekly meeting on Monday - the wheels don't move fast.........!!!!!!!!
  12. Totally agree. I'm not a big fan of the pyramid. That said through asking questions and listening I have no doubt moving is the best option. To not discuss with members is totally undemocratic and gives out the wrong message to members. Most who irrespective of views are united in the need and desire to discuss. Most are resigned to the fact there are no options with the EoS now available for 2018/19. Or there probably would have been members who would have made the relevant approach to the club.
  13. At this moment the committee of Linlithgow refuse to even discuss the matter with members. Whilst continuing to upgrade their park to exceed standards required for a licensed club.
  14. Wrong Montrose you refer to (Montrose Roselea) - I was being ironic in my previous post
  15. Can't wait till our next big derby match against Montrose........!!!!!
  16. Meanwhile tumbleweed drifts down the Braehead Road.
  17. The SJFA were in the perfect position to run a national level that fed into the LL and HL as an existing national body. Instead they stuck their heads in the sand and been left behind and watched as teams defect to the EoS. This whole conversation should have been the opposite way around and EoS team coming the other way. Tom Johnstone legacy will be the man that killed junior football.
  18. Can't be that much of a concern if they have left. Nobody is getting rich on a gate against Linlithgow and Bo'ness. On the other hand we bought new floodlights through participation in the Scottish Cup.
  19. In simple terms our committee are Turkeys and voted for Xmas.
  20. In which case we are fecked. We are probably the most prepared club in Scotland to participate in a pyramid system. Yet the furthest away from committing.
  21. So much for the in Tom Johnstone we trust brigade.
  22. HTG clearly thinks you are an erse - mentioning you in the same post as me...!!
  23. These are my views alone. Linlithgow haven't discussed this matter with members - so their actual views are still unknown. You get differing views depending on who you ask.
  24. The HFL, LL, EoS, SoS and SJFA are only small component parts of the wider SFA who remain the governing body. My point was that the PWG haven't delivered much progress since the formation of the LL. My view remains the SFA should be setting out their vision (leadership) to the component parts to deliver/refine. Instead it feels like the SFA have taken the easy option and said to the PWG you get on with it. A group who consists of numerous bodies with their own Agenda's and unlikely to agree beyond their own views. At what stage do you say enough talking and take ownership of the situation - what has the PWG actually delivered? How long has the LL been in place with chaos below? Chaos in teams winning leagues but not licensed and unable to move - that really defeats the concept of a proper functioning pyramid. (my understanding - I'm no expert) The new CEO of the SFA should take ownership and chair and maybe then you would see progress.
