  1. Kelty are an absolute Gang. Foot left in at every opportunity. They brought on a sub with 47 on his back. Clearly money doesn't buy everything as a bruised and battered Rose side deservedly winning 2-0.
  2. First time I've seen a double decker for a team bus. Kelty must have nearly 25 players stripped. Still a bit of a gang leaving the boot in at every opportunity. Somethings will never change.
  3. Scottish Cup Prelim Round 1 - Bye Scottish Cup Prelim Round 2 - Preston Athletic/ Glasgow University v Linlithgow Rose Prelim Round 2 scheduled for Saturday 1 September
  4. Anyone looking for a game tonight, get yourself along to Prestonfield of Dreams to watch Linlithgow Rose v Kelty 7.30 pm Kick Off.
  5. All quiet at Prestonfield ahead of Monday's friendly with only 2 confirmed signings so far
  6. Agree it does seem a strange one on so many levels. But unlike the juniors we have a good few months to organise and make appropriate arrangements. However I'm sure I read on their website these games were subject to confirmation. It's feasible that we could work around this. Which wouldn't impact either. If anything there are also potential benefits. People staying out after the game swelling the coffers. If anything Jeanfield are even worse off not travelling home until after 10 pm.
  7. 8. The benefits to Community clubs linking to parent clubs, should run top to bottom. One overall joint management committee the 2 are completely seperate
  9. Community Club teams tend to be well supported by parents with plenty volunteers through the age levels. A revolving door providing a regular influx of new parents/volunteers compared to the ageing committee at Bo'ness. Many of these community clubs are also financial gold mines - with kids charged to train, play, fundraisers and all the kit which dad can also buy and pretend he is Steven Gerrard or Brendan Rodgers. As a result often these clubs want no more involvement than the name of the club
  10. The last part is the biggest difficulty ahead - BU are a single team - BUCFC are numerous teams and as such demands will be greater both training and matches. (We have issues getting suitable training slots due to the high demand of the community club). If both parties don't work together then you are faced with the NPA sitting in the middle unable to please either. We are lucky that we own Prestonfield and as such training facilities is the only issue.
  11. 73 years of hard work yes - but still potentially nothing to show for these 73 years. A team of the stature of Bo'ness should have looked at a more stable arrangement before now.
  12. Totally agree with this. The benefits to all are very apparent to most.
  13. You are a complete fantasist: Sat on the bench next to Coco on Saturday. Hit double figures in the SPL - clearly either one or both these claims must be false as no one on our bench at the weekend has scored double figures in the SPL. And yes Coco is well liked and respected at Linlithgow for consistently producing the goods both in goals scored and assists. You may well mock the standard and even the conditions of players - but remember unlike you these guys aren't claiming to be something they are not.
  14. Don't be silly - West teams don't like travelling...!!
  15. Bullsh*t - I think someone was yanking your chain. Plenty examples of big games which Coco has played a vital role and not a player I have any concerns over.
  16. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Welcome back anytime.
  17. Yep Hibs probably short changed their fans who pay to see a team perform irrespective of the opposition. Given our lack of available personnel and requiring to play 3 trialists over 35 I for one applaud the efforts of the boys in maroon today.
  18. Prestonfield of dreams looking the part ahead of it's big day..!!
