  1. A.d how do you know what was in the biscuit tin
  2. A club sacks a relatively unsuccessful manager...shock horror
  3. Welcome aboard...I can feel your gonna be fun
  4. As much as I try to defend ww one thing I will say is in recent months the updates from the power brokers and management is very poor, we seem to get decent updates on logistical things but nothing really regards the team etc, I think that adds fuel to the ramblings on here with all people's thoughts on transfers and likes.....
  5. Not really. When Davie Smith left for Montrose the same players stayed for years after winning honours, a ne2 manager never had that much a difference to personal
  6. I remember managers, it's just u don't look at pictures and think he was a great manager, like you do with players
  7. Correct...if u look at the old pictures in the club room very few people comment on the manager,it's always about the good players in a certain team, one other things for sure the current team won't be remembered in future times, harsh but true
  8. Sign of the times...in years gone by any fall outs (there were plenty) were forgot by next game, now everyone packs in...both on and off field
  9. Where did all the players come from last year which was equally a shite season
  10. Ok if were going to be blunt it's not budget, it's a poor manager and a high percentage of shite players,
  11. We're not losing the ability to sign players thro a few posts on here or predominantly the manager, we are because there's much more money kicking about the game at this level, and this era of player compared to 20 years ago is at opposite ends of the scale, 20 years ago it was just not Whitehill that kept more or less the same core of players every season it was near enough every side, nowadays with social media and the mentally of 20-30 year olds, there more or less touting for a move every pre-season, if Whitehill don't have the fund's ( they don't) it's a simple fact the quality of player they sign is what they have now,20 odd pages slagging the manager is all good and well but the standard of player we have determine our league position, last season a new age manager who did all the social media interviews and spoke a good game achieved very little more that we are at the moment, we argubly missed out on relegation by having so many games to fit in when opponents were ," on the beach".....what will be will be but the same poster's repeating the same posts countless times will change nothing
  12. I'm struggling a bit here...in one post your slating Whitehill for signing players from a junior club that are similar to an amateur club....then saying they should be scouting players from the amateur game....
  13. People moan about bringing players in....then moan that ww might be seeking fees for players. This place is over run with poster's and there agenda's. I will gaurentee in 2/3 years time there will be 3/4 of the poster's now posting on any Whitehill threads
  14. It's not really poss to do any worse is it ??
  15. Aye,people's misfortune and hard times are always good for mocking...
  16. All what you have said is spot on, the 80s.90s and early 00s were auctully like a perfect storm for Whitehill, it was like 25 years of perfect recruitment.....the reality is they should never have been as successful as we were, we,in size and support terms should be comparable to ormiston or Aniston rangers etc.....it was always going to catch up with us one day and I personally think that time is now...tbf nobody likes losing or a team struggling but the people who have been around the welfare for years are clever enough to know what we are and where we will realistically end up.....
  17. As I said I call it as I see it...with no agenda
  18. I'm out from going round the same circles every weekend, I call everthing I see and think from the position of a ww supporter and nothing else, others I think speak with differing agenda' s.....I'm well aware that the management have a struggle on there hands to be sucsessful, I'm also were that the Ayers should not be exempt from any criticism that may come there way...one of football's greatest statements is "if your good enough your old enough".....
  19. They might well be decent young players...but it looks like not at this level. As I said things were not much better last year...at any level of football 2.1 up with 10mins to go against 20 men you find a way to win the match.....
  20. Or maybe there not good enough...is it such an impossible task for a team of hungry young players to see out a victory whilst leading against 10 men. Does it really take tactical alterations or could maybe they say" let's work our arses off together and get a much needed 3 points"
  21. And yet another weekend without any player criticism ..last year the team avoided relegation by the skin of there baws under a different management team and this season is looking worse.... I'd say a few tactical and positional changes unfortunately ain't changing the squad into a lowland league capable side....
  22. Yhd...we get it, you could have left it at post 1 about your distaste for the manager...post #47 about it is hard work now
  23. Any decent players young or old are more than likely starting for there clubs...the damage has and was done in the last 2 close seasons
