  1. Talking of the League Cup Final and negative shite, every Dons fan I've ever met whenever the 2014 final is mentioned just says it was the worst game ever and seems to take no joy in the fact that lifted the cup that year. It's mad, it doesn't matter how you win it - just win it. Enjoy it! Good luck against that new club this time.
  2. I assume Chris means three different (non OF) Scottish clubs.
  3. That's true. I don't really recall Dodds adapting the formation to suit specific opposition, in the league at least. Although to be honest I stopped paying attention latterly.
  4. No just the positivity, after the Utd game he was explaining why he'd went with 5 in defence with 3 centre backs, explained the reasoning behind it and how it had worked (which he was really positive and pleased about), it was good to hear that. Like I said, a big difference to the previous manager. To be fair to Dodds he was mostly very positive in his interviews, the problem was he was often being positive about negative results!
  5. I think Robbo will leave at the end of the season. I noticed that Dodds was 'Head Coach' while Dunc is 'Manager', I think that maybe suggests Dunc taking on much of the Sporting Director's role, certainly on the football side at least. Udjur has proved to be a really positive signing so far. I think the impact the new manager has had on the existing players has been huge, even just listening to him talk after games is night and day to the previous manager.
  6. "subbies". "subbies"? Are you one of those people that call chicken nuggets "nuggies"? "subbies". Dear god.
  7. I was listening to Off the Ball earlier and they were saying "Oh poor Craig Levein, he always gets judged on that 4-6-0 game..." I go to most Scotland games, I was at the 4-6-0 game, however what sticks out for me the most about Levein's time in charge of Scotland is that under his tenure, after two home games of a qualifying group (Euro's I think), we were already out of it. We were the very first team in UEFA to be absolutely guaranteed not to qualify. Even The Faroe Islands could still statistically qualify. You knew that they wouldn't but mathematically it was possible. But Scotland were out. Two games. Failure. That's Craig Levein for me. I struggle to think of a single person in Scottish football that I dislike more than Levein. He's an arrogant, obnoxious, condescending serial failure. I wish St. Johnstone nothing but success, but seeing him back in the game sucks.
  8. I suppose he is really. As has been said on many threads where Yogi has been mentioned for a new job, he's not the type of manager to get you out of a mess, whereas I suppose Dodds is a better option in that case.
  9. Must be bullsh1t then! He may have applied but I would have thought he's quite happy with the BBC weekend work. He didn't apply for the job with ICT initially, he just got taken on to help McCann because he never won a game after stepping in so Robbo could go on leave. Anyway, good luck.
  10. Where is that quote from? I'm surprised Dodds has applied if it's true.
  11. If he was good enough I'm sure he'd have a club already. I've faith in the manager on this decision. F**k 'im!
  12. I stay in Glasgow, it was actually really nice down here on the Saturday, perfect for a game of football in the afternoon, but hindsight is 20/20. With red weather warnings still in place and fatalities it was the right decision at the time (again - in my opinion solely). I hope the weather is as good at the upcoming game you mention but that you don't get the three points this time!
  13. As it turned out it the travel conditions were OK on Saturday, you are right. However when the game was called off on the Friday evening, it was the correct decision at that point in time. Well in my opinion it was anyway. That's just one person's opinion, feel free to disagree, it's really not worth arguing about.
  14. I think this is league games (I could be wrong) but it's certainly a lot more games than I thought he had played in the last two seasons gone. Although as has been mentioned his overall influence in games does seem to be a lot less.
  15. Calling the game off was the right decision when it was made. It's a shame that they didn't make the correct decision when Morton played QP as you twice point out, but I'd rather they learn from mistakes than do what you seem to be implying and sticking to some ill judged precedent because of what-aboutery. I think it would have been really unfair if we were the home team at the weekend and Morton had been expected to travel up to Inverness. The weather was severe at the weekend, there were fatalities, but I'm sorry you are so butt hurt about the game being off just because of a lousy decision two weeks ago. Please listen to your fellow supporter above...
  16. I'd like to see him sign for us but if he's holding out for more money then we're definitely not the answer.
  17. Apples n pears me ol' mucka. The bloke third from the left definitely supports a different (new) Glasgow team.
  18. As people have said he's only been playing for us for less than 2 weeks. There was a lot fans getting all fizzy because we signed him from the Aussie lower leagues without giving him a chance. The original comment/s are basically people eating a bit of humble pie as he's had 3 games and done pretty well.
  19. Apparently there were around 250 ICT fans at the game. I was in the bit you mention but there were some in the stand next to us. I have no idea how much of that stand our fans had so I've no idea how many fans we had in there, not many I'm guessing. It is a really bad view as has been mentioned, probably the worst I've experienced at an away ground. Last time I was there we were behind the goal and then swapped ends at HT. Although we lost 3-0 that day so I much preferred last Saturday's game!
  20. I never imagined that when they were spunking all that money during the 90's and early 2000's, buying relative "success" and all their fans were giving it billy big baws, being insufferable c**ts, that the price they'd have to pay would be so huge. It's an utter joy to behold. It's also a joy to see the complete lack of the rangers fans engaging. Even they know that they are a complete parody. An hilarious, comedic, embarrassing parody. Keep it up.
