  1. What was surprising - that the Largs delegate backed it or that NONE of the others did?
  2. Was that email this morning genuine.....you seem to know someone that has access to these emails. It just looks a little bit fake. Missing out the dot on West Junior F.A both times makes it look like a copy and paste job.
  3. Largs Thistle didn't vote against Option Z they voted for Option W.
  4. Ok - I'll accept it's a fake now. Why would they go from "no one is left behind" yesterday to going it alone today. This is what should have happened though.
  5. I hope this is just a windup. Can anyone corroborate this?
  6. I'm looking forward to next year's census by which time there will be about 400 genders to choose from.
  7. It won't happen and I think that email may just have made the decision a little easier for some clubs.
  8. I think this may be their only course. I think it is just a threat and won't mount to anything. I'm doing a lot of "thinking" this morning.
  9. I don't think it will be against clubs. I think it will be against the new League they are talking about. I also don't think anything will happen legally like they say.
  10. In other words, back to option W that only Largs were in favour of. The clubs should have "approved" at the first meeting what they thought was best for their clubs not what the Management Committee recommended they "approve." EDIT : Anyone know where I can get an "I told you so" tee shirt?
  11. I suspect George Frazer may have a busy inbox tomorrow morning.
  12. More likely to stop the new League setting up and poaching (?) clubs.
  13. So this has been going on since 2001. The clubs have been asking for access to the Pyramid through the Juniors. And when it appear as though that door is finally shut there's a veiled threat to stop other clubs finding their own access to the Pyramid?
  14. Or it could be because they prefer to use the proper channels to put their business to the clubs, unlike others that are happy to use their p&b stooges to put out their lies for them. That's putting their business to the clubs - what about the fans? Do they not matter? Have they released ANY public statement so fans know what their plans are? Other Leagues use their official websites to put out information to everyone.
  15. I was going to comment your friend would be along any minute after your post and lo & behold he appeared as I was typing.
  16. More like "if I can't play then neither can you."
  17. Why don't the release a public statement so the fans can read it?
  18. It's disappointing Glencairn would create these storms lately to get games put off because they had a couple of players injured. These storms affect more than football. Glencairn have gone down in my estimation.
  19. Clubs will be holding meeting with fans over the next couple of weeks. Do they have anything from the SJFA to present to those fans? They're going to be looking at the number of former Junior clubs getting Licenced and thinking that will not be beyond their own club. But Licensing will only be available to clubs in a League which is part of the Pyramid. This keeping clubs and fans in the dark may have worked in the past but I suspect in today's world it won't wash.
  20. They have a two year head start. Clubs like Talbot won't have too much to do to catch up.
  21. They can't just add in the all in or none in part after the vote has taken place.
  22. Has anyone got the wording of the vote where this "all in or none in" mandate came from?
  23. I think clubs will be thinking what is going to be left of the Junior Cup.
