  1. You'll enjoy the ninety minutes more than any Stirling or Annan fans.
  2. I'm assuming all the usual die hards/supporters club core are going on Saturday? Unless anyone is banned?
  3. The Falkirk website is poorly designed IMO.
  4. Thank f***. Can relax now and enjoy the semis. Don't really care who wins, if I had to choose I'd probably go for Wilson.
  5. Ridiculous miss on the pink from Bingham when he was nearly there.
  6. Robbo and Kev will get offered deals IMO. They both showed on Saturday they are still very good players. Cammy is a more difficult. We would all love to see him kick on, but he just hasn't done that consistently enough for me. He's not a full back and, despite doing OK there, isn't the answer going forwards. He hasn't ever had many games in his natural central midfielder role and that to me means managers don't think he's good enough there. As you say, it would be difficult to tell him (or the other two) he's being released. Yeah, I'd say Sammo was still fit enough. I expect we'll offer him a deal - he seems to be a good guy to have around. Maybe Andy will get him involved in coaching too.
  7. Probably explains why Morgan can sometimes be a bit erratic.
  8. Did he not take that role over from Houston?
  9. I think it's difficult to be sure of that from just looking at a list of the teams. The Alloa team which finished second was much better than the current side, a point they emphasised by comfortably beating Dunfermline in the playoff final (winning the first leg three nil even with a missed penalty). They also went on to spend three years in the Championship, beating a very good Hamilton side twice. McGlynn 100% deserves to win it IMO. Dry yer eyes, m8.
  10. Given the talk on the match thread about how many tickets Falkirk have sold and them potentially "making more available" to home fans, I went down to TFS just now to get one for the away section. Looks like we just have one section (F) out of six, although the girl who served me wasn't sure.
  11. Just popped down and got my ticket. Girl who served me wasn't sure she could sell away tickets, but I convinced her she could.
  12. I hope you're leaving some for us Alloa fans.
  13. Am I right in thinking both Neill and McKay were signed on two year deals last summer?
  14. Pleased Steff is signing on again. Obviously battles the impact of injuries on his body and I'm sure he's delighted to still be getting a decent amount of game time. Still capable of moments of real quality and works very hard. We've been fortunate to have him these last few years.
  15. Kurtis has been very consistent, but between Wales and Steven for me.
  16. Top notch stuff. Snooker at its best.
  17. Going to be a strange game from an Alloa perspective. A full house of Falkirk fans in celebratory mood, their team going for a fantastic record, while we have a clearly much more important game three days later against a full time team. Really just a game for us to get through without injuries or a defeat which dents the players' confidence. (ETA As Rory has pointed out.) I expect it to be nervy. A test for Andy G to manage the players through it; my gut feel is that pretty much everyone will get some game time, although personally I'd rest Wales and Steven completely. Losing either of those two would seriously dent our chances of getting past Hamilton in the semi. I'll be going though; interested enough to be part of the occasion and, of course, would hate to miss it if we stop the record.
  18. Yep. Started the season a bit shakily, but I'd put that at least partly down to a tough time at Falkirk and playing behind a defence that was too often all over the place. Has improved and is now playing consistently well, with much fewer errors.
  19. Good if expected news. A genuinely great Alloa player IMO who will likely become second on our (post war) appearances list.
