  1. No grub at ground. A pie-less desert. There was a snack bar at industrial estate that you drive by on road to ground, after you turn in off main road, a few hundred yards from ground. Or a Lidl as you turn off main road..
  2. Bit of a surprise result, considering Vale's form. I think the only predictable thing about this league is its unpredictability.
  3. The big no 5, needs lessons on offside too. Some of the shouts from him for offside were ridiculous, in the games we've played against them. Although he wasn't the only one. Their manager does tend to have a short fuse. Got involved with fans at Craighead.
  4. You and me, both. We could be doing with a bit more experience and dig about the team. We do have good players, just something not clicking from last season I'm sure big Sinky will address it.
  5. We could very well be, if form doesn't pick up. This result on back of Finnart game, both at home. Two for, seven against. Doesn't bode well. The fact the league is tight now helps but anymore performances like those two and we could become detached.
  6. Gow 1 Ardeer Thistle 4 Poor show from Gow. On loan keeper had a debut to forget, although rest of team didn't exactly cover themselves in glory. When we did get the ball down and play at a fast pace we looked good. It just didn't happen often enough. Must do better.
  7. Merry Christmas from the Mighty Gow to all our Third division dwelling buddies. Awe the best for the new year.
  8. That's true. Would prefer much fewer in the Goals Against column, mind you.
  9. Dalry Thistle 4 Lesmahagow 4 On a dreich day, with the wind playing a big part in the game. Dalry took the lead against the run of play. Gow equalised not long after. Dalry regained the lead just before half time. Went 3-1 ten minutes into second half. The Gow then scored three, with last of those being with ten minutes to go with new signing Gregg Miller, Robbie Duddy and Paul Woodlock instrumental in come back. Five minutes to go, Dalry pushing for equaliser, they scored a belter from 25 yards. The Gow need to toughen up and hold leads, starting to become a feature this season. A draw away would normally be seen as good, considering the circumstances it was disappointing.
  10. Never has a team of supposedly grown men looked more like a bunch of cantankerous toddlers.
  11. Gow 3 Threave Rovers 1 A much improved performance. Looking like a different team from the last few weeks. Threave scored against the run of play, then equalised before half time. Midway through second half, we were down to ten men, harshly. Seemed to galvanise us and we scored a couple from well taken corners. Good start for big Sinky.
  12. Good to see Big Sinky back. He brings a wealth of experience. Looking forward to it. Mon the Gow.
  13. Daryl has achieved nothing so far at this level and I wish him all the best at Lanark I'm not going to get involved in message ping pong with someone who sets up an account to try and stir it. If you know so much why don't you join the committee? Easy to criticise and your assumptions are way off the mark.
  14. I think you are wrong, but you are entitled to your opinion
  15. Neil Schoneville has resigned as Lesmahagow manager The club would like to thank Neil for his hard work and commitment over a seven year period as a player and a manager Nikki Paterson and Gerry Ward will also leave there posts and we thank them both for their efforts We wish everyone all the best for the future The club will now be taking applications from interested parties..
  16. Certainly will be. Personally I would like to see an experienced proven manager.

  18. Gow 1 Greenock 3 What a waste of a drive to Greenock and back. Poor show from Gow. A freak goal and a wind assisted worldie saw us 2-0 down. Pulled one back from free kick. 2-1 at half time. Looked the better team in second half but couldn't get the ball in the net. Greenock caught us with a late one. All in all under par performance. Must do better.
  19. Lesmahagow 3 Whittletts Vics 0 Could have been more. Competent display from the Gow, onto the next round.

  21. Mr Mogadon, what is he bringing to this commentary, apart from clichés in hushed tones. He's awful.
  22. Morata. Is there a footballer caught more offside in the history of football than him? Make your mind up VAR it will soon be Monday
