  1. Fixed. So that's an unofficial European body, the incompetent Scottish football authorities with a vested interest in maintaining the myth, Dermot Desmond and a football journo. The new club argument is remarkably simple. There are two definitions of what a football club is that are at odds with one another, there's the SFA's and there's the law of the land's. The SFA say it's the SFA membership. The Law says that if a club incorporates a business they share one legal personality. I know which definition I'll be giving precedence to.
  2. It's pretty east to find people up for discussing whether Lustig and Matthews should be our first choice full backs and drop Izaguirre. The past, present and future dodgy dealings at Ibrox not so much. Considering this is the largest Scottish football forum for fans of all clubs it really shouldn't come as a surprise that this discussion attracts people to P&B. Why do you have a problem with it?
  3. Not sure how anyone can claim McCoist knew the Rangers support would react with threats of violence. How could a man who's been involved with Rangers for most of the last 30 years, a supporter for 50, possibly predict that?
  4. There is only one man fit to fill the role of Craigy Whyte in any upcoming adaptation.
  5. Ah, I see. The The Rangers fans I've spoken to have said that last part as though it were fact. At the moment it's just a theory with a reasonable conclusion based on known facts. The reason I've been asking all this is because I've seen a lot of your fans saying they'll be fine (with the footballing authorities at least) as long as the assets never touched 5088. Without seeing the 5 way agreement I don't think anyone can make that claim. It's entirely possible they foresaw such jiggery pokery and included a provision that Whyte can have no dealings whatsoever with the Newco, or anyone involved with it in an official capacity.
  6. Which Newco were they dealing with, I presume Sevco Scotland by the time everything was agreed? Is it possible Sevco 5088 were involved with discussions before changing to Sevco Scotland? Also, how do you (and other Rangers fans I've spoken to) know the bolded part is true?

  8. Only if the CVA said it would be sold for that amount to any buyer. It didn't, so unless 5088 agree to drop out, D+P are obligated to sell to the party named in the CVA. Maybe Green dropped out on behalf of 5088, I don't know. I'm sure you'll agree though it's very suspicious he subsequently lied about the assets going to 5088 then Sevco Scotland.
  9. Did the CVA proposal not say that if the CVA is rejected, then the assets would be sold to 5088?
  10. It's more the colour of it (Breaking Bad reference), rather than the fact he's got meth. It was Merle's anyway.
  11. Spotted something cool while rewatching series 2. When Daryl's getting antibiotics for T-Dawg he pulls out a bag with some capsules and some 'crystal'....
  12. Miz's figure four is fucking terrible.

  14. Hmm, fair enough if you've never used it yourself. Hilariously, it's one of the more common defences used by the The Rangers support, so maybe that's why I thought you'd used it. I don't disagree with what they've said about the original Rangers behaviour under Whyte being one step down from match fixing though. It was a deliberate ploy to gain an undeserved advantage on a scale unheard of in Scotland.
  15. I presume the people who appointed the tribunal have also suffered equal, if not more, damage to their credibility. Especially considering they defended the punishment in court. If so, why do so many The Rangers fans (including yourself, iirc) use the SFA's transference of membership as evidence they're the same club?
  16. No surprise a man as wise as JBL kens the script regarding this 'holding company' nonsense.
  17. I had a thought. Would £94m be the largest amount of unpaid tax fraud by a sporting institution? Can someone who knows where to look check that out, there's potentially a new world record on the horizon.
  18. Have to agree with the Captain here, Rangers cheating only began in 2001.
  19. Seems to back up my reading of the final report. By admitting £94m as the figure for voting purposes it essentially means D+P think Rangers will lose the FTT. There's a currant at work who keeps trying to tell me it's just the worst case scenario.
  20. They did. I still find The Rangers situation funny despite us losing yesterday. We lost a match but your club died, it's funny.
