Another iffy home performance so far for Devils. 1-1 v Islanders end of 1st and now 2-1 down in the 2nd after almost one way traffic for Devils. Just caught last few seconds of Sharks-Penguins and it was mentioned how good a game it is with no penalties. Rangers have found something to be 2-2 with Capitals.

Only managed to watch the 1st period. It was a 3.20am shot the day before watching the Devils so struggled. After a Devils match I sometimes tune into WFAN on my internet radio for post match chat! Bit tired lately. Aye, looked a good match though. Mainly about skill and skating when I saw it compaired to Devils toss it in and forecheck style. Just hope Devils cope well with both of them at the end of the week. Beat Bruins in OT the other week after being 2-0 down. Great fightback that night. Probably more of the same needed. The feeds are great aren't they? Pretty much TV quality (on my 20" monitor anyway). I sat one night with 5 matches on screen at once for a wee while just to see what I was missing! Have to say the regularity of Papa John's pizza ads were doing my head in for a month or so over the holiday period. I guess you'll be watching a few more Sharks' matches this week while they're in the east?

Watched Devils 3-0 win versus a poor Rangers team. Could have been more with one off the bar on a shorthanded breakaway and a couple of good saves from Lolqvist as I've seen him named. How childish. He could have done a little better with the first goal I thought. Devils could have been better especially in the first but did enough as Rangers ran out of steam. They're in free-fall it seems. So many mistakes and lack of dig. One shot off the post was about it apart from Orr flattening Rupp with a right hook. After the Islanders tomorrow it's the Bruins and Sharks at home this week. Something tells me those will be slightly more challenging. Devils still need to cut out some of the penalties and up their game at times. Harsh for a team with a 9-2 record just now but they've been slogging through home games lately.

Here's hoping the Devils find some home form on Monday night. Been frustrating to see them falter against Kings and Caps after so much good work 'on the road'. Perfect team to lash back against in Rangers that let in 10 in Dallas. Most recent wins of 8-5 and 4-2 v NYR show they are fragile and slipping off the pace. I expect this will be a bruising match. White is a doubt for Devils which isn't good after he missed the defeat the other night. At least Avery isn't playing for 'them' yet. Does everyone watch their teams live off the links on atdhe ? So many late nights for me the last couple of months.

Sin City - 8/10 Missing something, not sure what. Maybe too samey throughout? Good to have a movie where almost anyone can be killed though! League of Gentleman, Apocalypse 9/10 I didn't read the synopsis so wasn't sure where it was heading but it worked well. Tears of laughter a couple of times. Geoff is excellent. Fans should watch it. The Mothman Prophecies - 9/10 Saw it again on TV last night. Subtle for a US film. Let the record state that I also enjoyed Saw.

More than 20 years on and I still think they sound unique and their music hasn't dated too much. I still delude myself that a Cocteau Twins DVD will suddenly appear on the shelves of music stores. I'll have to stick to the videos on their website I think. That answers the question anyway! I'm working my way through their website videos. Good stuff even if it doesn't include more from Head Over Heels. Nowadays, I'll very often listen, via Winamp, to Chillout on Digitally Imported or SomaFM's Drone Zone. It's a change from Bolt Thrower, Big Black, Happy flowers etc. Last CD that I listened to a lot (a year!) on my MP3 while commuting was Ash - Free All Angels. I never really tire of hearing that.
