That's the gay-est song ever
I am listening to the humdrum buzz of the office, but at lunchtime I listened to the superb new LIbertines single, Can't Stand Me Now

Some girl called Frankee has brought out a version that hits back at that called "F*ck u right back" and it's basically the girl he talks about in his song getting her own back, using his tune but changing the lyrics. She says things like "You asked for this" "There are always two sides to the story" and "You thought you broke my back, but the truth is, your sex was whack" - something to that effect.
It's class!
Surely if she is using his music, he'll get the royalties so she's just making him cash? I'm sure Eamonn is delighted that she's got her own back

But last night I was listening to Live at Folsom Prison, by Johnny Cash, prompted by the excellent documentary on his life shown last Friday. Superb.

Please tell me you're having a laugh.
I don't mind Oasis, fair enough they're trad-rock b**locks but sometimes that does the trick. However, to claim that 'Digsy's Dinner' is one of the best songs ever is surely taking the p!sh. It's mince!
I hear Digsy's Dinner on the jukebox in the boozer on Saturday, it is what it is I suppose. I don't think anyone would seriously claim that it is the greatest rock epic ever.
I did hear a decent song on Mark and lard the other day, The Casanova's, might seek that out. I think it comes out on the 9th of March.

Dailly, McNamara, Cameron and McCann will be too old when it comes to the 2008 world cup. People criticise Wilkie, but he will improve with age and eliminate youthful mistakes. Ross is about the best I can think of as a young right back. Hopefully Fletcher, Pearson and Murray come through and advance their games. McFadden and Miller is a quality striker force.
Only reservations abotu this (provisional) line up would be a possible lack of width in the midfield and strength up front. maybe Vogts would like to start with Thompson or even Kevin Kyle (who I hear is doing well with Sunderland this season).
Of course, we could yet see Dennis Wyness or Barry Robson in a Scotland shirt

I bought the album for a fiver in a sale, it's class, although I can understand why lee Mavers didn't like it - some of the production is a little 80s (just a little, mind). There She Goes is a classic Jim, you miserable sod
