  1. Excellent. The baw is now with the Sfa. About time they were forced to incorporate all clubs into their ' pyramid '.
  2. Nonsense. If they don't want to embrace the pyramid concept f**k off out of it just like the juniors
  3. Iain McQueen is former manager of Kilbirnie and Dalry , assistant at Beith , Winton Rovers and former general manager of Irvine Meadow. His brother is Gordon McQueen ex Leeds ,Man Utd , his neice is Hayley McQueen of Sky. He is a good guy , knows his stuff.
  4. Colville have far more ex juniors than Hurlford. Do you really believe guys like Chrissy Craig , Darren Miller are playing to have their kits washed ? Both have played for Kilbirnie recently and a can assure you they don't come cheap.
  5. Perhaps turning the pitch and selling off spare land. They will have plenty to sell. Know they had considered it , committee man told us a few season's back.
  6. Fair chance that may happen. However if you remember the East/West merger proposed by the SJFA left the North Region kinda superfluous to the future of the juniors. Never expect the expected from the blazers nobody will be allowed to hinder their continued existence.
  7. How can GLESGABOY be Johnston ? TJ cannae work the internet ffs
  8. Aye but would TJ with his position not have the authority to negotiate on behalf of his member clubs.
  9. You have a manager that has played for Stranraer and Livingston played with top juniors Pollok , Medda and Linlithgow and managed a West Super Premier team in Kilbirnie yet you never asked his opinion ? . Swifty is a bookie wonder what odds he would give for your proposal succeeding when you it's obvious the lack of homework is astounding.
  10. So Swifty made sure one was sent to his best bud Strain at Kilwinning , did he get an email mail off to Kilbirnie ?
  11. Junior clubs from the East being in close proximity to EoSFL will always find it relatively easy to cross. Ormiston did it years back. It makes you wonder though if the pyramid is so enticing why have only Kelty moved. Personally not against my club joining the pyramid but as it stands for West clubs just now there is absolutely no chance of that happening. My club issued fans with a leaflet explaining and asking them to tick the box whether they wished to join the West/East SuperLeague proposal a few season's back. The fans voted no. Nothing whatsoever has ever been mentioned about joing any pyramid. If there ever is any new pyramid proposed that includes the juniors it's my opinion that fans will not be for it. In my opinion only the SFA instigating a REAL pyramid would force the juniors to join. Clydebank are in different situation having already been senior but people say there will soon be a swarm of clubs leaving the juniors I dunno honestly just can't see it , next couple season's will be interesting for sure.
  12. The SoSFL is a complete load of shite even BSC understand that they don't ever want to even contemplate being relegated into it. If the juniors are to be involved in any way it won't be through joining the set up as is now. The West Junior Super League is well superior to SoSFL ,.. they should tag onto bottom of West Region juniors , the fifth division.
  13. The SJFA would most likely accept BSC but would West Region be so keen ? They have perfect number of clubs for new league set up to begin next season. Daily Amateurs applied to join in early '90s but a delegation of officials declared their ground not up to scratch. The real reason though was that other Ayrshire clubs were not keen on the travelling and believed that they brought very little to enhance the juniors.
  14. Think you are spot on bud. Swifty has had a look at the level and realised the juniors would enhance it. There are also a couple ex Ladeside players there who have had plenty senior experience. Looks like BSC have people running the club who are forward thinking. Kilbirnie have signed 3 or 4 players from lowland league teams this season.
  15. Have cut and lined Merksworth Park in the past. Even Dalry Thistle would have a match in June and July lol
  16. And juniors can't play as they are without cramming half the season into last two months. Does it matter if you play majority of matches early in season or later. May , June , July , August 3 games a week no probs if needed. Scottish Cup not creating a backlog. They manage it in Ireland 33 game season , no midweek , only use lights cause they chose to.
  17. You would have to make sure that didn't happen. Plenty Saturdays and Wednesday nights June , July , August. Scottish Cup would get most of its rounds completed first time of asking. Some of the pitches in juniors are now in fantastic condition , it's amazing what can be achieved nowadays in very little time with not a lot of sun. Talbot replaced their goalmouth no problem , stuff like that could be done during season June , July when clubs have a few away games due. Turfing almost the whole pitch is a thing of the past.
  18. The folk that go to junior games that have a senior team..if their junior team becomes a senior team will they still care about their junior team ? If Kilbirnie join the pyramid...then there can only be one.. my senior team will be forgotten..how many will choose junior over their senior ?
  19. Two of the players you mention Grehan and Donnelly were junior with Kilbirnie last season. Have no doubts had Donnelly got the deal he wanted he would have stayed while big Paulo seems to find it easier to score in Lowland league than juniors.
  20. Simple ??? EoS integrate into East juniors. SoS integrate into West juniors ...let Tweedmouth work their way up , not down ffs.. they don't deserve to be up anywhere. North juniors integrate into Highland..if Highland won't accept it..ban them from all competitions until they do. Winners of East/West play off against bottom of lowland. Winners of Highland play off against winners of Lowland.
  21. Newton Stewart 0 Kelty Hearts 10 Can we have Colville Park and Hurlford Thistle ammies instead ?
  22. Next season's set up in West Region juniors is perfect for a pyramid. The SoS clubs could join in at the bottom and work THEIR way up..always the juniors that have to move to BETTER themselves it seems. EoS league clubs could join in at bottom of East juniors pyramid.
  23. The Sjfa just disregard North juniors. SoS league is mince no west junior club will have anything to do with it.
  24. No but the SFA could abolish the junior grade. Imagine that lol
  25. Geographically East teams are better placed for a pyramid than West teams. It has to be seriously tempting for clubs like Bo'ness to follow Kelty. If a was a Bo'ness or Lithgae fan a would want to have a crack at it. Wish something could be done for West clubs to have the choice as it stands very much doubt any of them will take the plunge.
