Have heard a lot of excuses down the years for junior clubs calling games off but foxes is a beauty. Every club ( although they won't admit it ) has tried it or at least thought about doing it at some time in their history. It's obvious that BoD never expected anybody from Fauldhoose to pay them a visit lol. Can't see them being thrown out as it seems they went through procedure with referee. Have Fauldhoose put in a protest to SJFA , are they claiming the game ?

Glens played some good stuff , knocked the ball about well , especially the No6. Like you said though never thought they looked like scoring. Is McKay the guy that scored a couple in first match between the teams ? Was looking out for him glad he never played.

Like every manager results will be the factor. We need to get stability soon. Plenty experience in squad , no excuses on that front but motivation when playing so called lesser clubs is concerning and our downfall so far.

Junior cup final could be at Medda as well. No doubt another all West or all Ayrshire. Grass pitch , more than ample cover excellent facilities.

The North Region have always done their own thing , the SJFA don't bother with them. The East Region is a shambles since the clubs all left. If it was only West clubs left the blazers at Hampden would be happy enough ...save them pretending.

Darvel have many players that have played with other top junior teams and failed to topple the Talbot. If anything it may be down to what the manager can do different with these players , the mentality of the manager rather than the players. Beating the Talbot over 90 in a league game won't win the league , the same level of performance will be needed over the other 29 games because the Talbot treat every match the same Rossvale or Pollok makes no difference , Talbot don't showboat they always show respect whoever the opponent is. The mentality at the club is incredible.. Seen many comments about them being a long ball outfit , not as good as results suggest. BS Talbot squeeze the guts out of you , make you play in your own half , test your mental strength , it's doesn't matter if it's the 9th or 90th minute they believe the goal will come , the win will come. They have been for 40 years a fecking phenomenon.

They have a decent budget now but not when he first took over.

Friels had done excellent at Dalry taken them from bottom of District to currently 11th in Championship on a budget less than nothing. What we don't want/need is another Bradley we want somebody desperate to prove himself in the top division full of passion , motivation and bloody crabbit when they lose. ... somebody that can beat Gartcairn lol. There are good players in the Ladeside team capable of beating Pollok and Medda yet at same time losing to Rossvale and Gartcairn....fire in the belly is missing.

Reckon you would get universal approval amongst Ladeside fans for Anders. Neither Swift or McGuiness had management experience when appointment. Be a surprise if the wee fella was interested in management though.

Arnie worked at Kilbirnie with Swift and Crilly , played a few matches and was well liked. Think it's inevitable he will be considered again.

Arnie has done superb taking the club to Scottish final last season and now getting excellent results with s virtually new young squad. Arnie knows Liam well but it would be a surprise to me if he signed to play on plastic.

Don't know who he is either but he's no gonna be manager of Kilbirnie. Ladeside don't need contacts to get Clydebank based players ffs w have had plenty. Only amateur manager anywhere near the job would be Hurlford Thistle boss.

If he hasn't already done so , he should apply.

If Ladeside were to appoint a manager of amateur club it would be Hughie Houston.....the man Darvel wanted.

We should just release him out of respect for what he has done for the club.
