  1. That would leave Labour without a constituency MSP. And the pro-independence parties on 85 MSP's!
  2. Yes they settled it for all of 6 weeks!
  3. C'mon admit it, you're getting that sick feeling again. This is not really going to plan since the No vote is it?
  4. First poll on independence as far as I'm aware since 18th Sept. Good to see support for independence hasn't diminished, in fact it's increased! YouGov -: Should Scotland be an independent country? Yes 52% (+7) No 48% (-7)
  5. Such a young man as well - gone too soon. Leave me yer shed will ye?
  6. You would miss out on all the fun and the referendum banter!
  7. What will you do if there is a referendum - disappear again and seek solace from yer chums on Twitter?
  8. Yea, keep telling yourself that if it gets you to sleep at night
  9. You just want this whole independence thing to go away and it won't so you keep telling yourself "it can't happen again, it won't happen"
  10. The reason I mentioned both the Tory government and the EU is because Scotland could get a government that is not just despised but the majority of the Scottish electorate didn't vote for. And we could have a situation where Scotland votes to remain in the EU but the rest of the UK doesn't and votes to leave. Both of these situations could trigger a referendum in my opinion
  11. You seem to miss out the possibility of those who voted No on the more powers being delivered not getting what they expected. Another Tory led government at Westminster The UK leaving the EU All are factors that could trigger another referendum. Yes didn't lose by 20 or 30% , they were only 6 % off of victory which is quite achievable
  12. Of course they didn't have to but all parties came to an agreement to abide by the EC recommendations. Same will apply next time and what Reynard suggested would be totally unacceptable. The Union side can't claim nothing, it will be the Scottish parliament that will take control of the referendum same as last time
  13. Think we'll let the Electoral Commission determine if the question is acceptable or not. Referendum before 2020 is a dead cert in my most humble opnion
  14. Ahh well it will be back down to 23% if that's the case
  15. Got to admit that is very suspicious...
  16. Pollster Peter Kellner from Yougov: am I absolutely sure that no is slightly ahead? "No I'm not"
  17. YouGov poll out today with a very large sample size of 3,000 I believe
  18. Despite the TV media showing activists from both sides knocking doors the simple fact is the No campaign just doesn't have the "boots on the ground" They cannot compete with the Yes campaign in terms of active supporters. For that reason I'm going to say the Yes campaign polling would be more accurate than the No campaign.
  19. Interesting from Maddox at the Scotsman "Private Yes briefings put their support at 53-57% No reckon they have 55% both cannot be right" True, both cannot be right. Who do you believe?
  20. Think you can guarantee that as it will be announced by ultra Unionist Daily Mail journo Alan Roden
