  1. There may be a wee one, but I can't see it attracting many of the The Rangers fans. For so many of them, their existence is defined by following/ getting fleeced by One Of Ra Biggest Clubs In Ra Wurld, triumphing over being a big fish in a small bond, and beating the other cheek. Actually having control of their club would be a hollow thing for them, since it wouldn't give them the Betty Big Baws validation they need.
  2. Yep, been there with my own team, and it's grim. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Except Old Firm fans.
  3. Officially we don't have that history, but that's not how anyone really sees it. "We" got to the cup finals in '92 and '95, "we" played in Europe, Owen Coyle "returned" a few years ago, etc.
  4. You see all these Rangers fans - the ones quoted in the BBC story today, for instance - insisting that we need them, and that even if they were in the third division this would kill Scottish football. Just how low would Rangers need to be shown to have sunk for them to accept the need for severe punishment? What more, what worse things could be revealed to make them say "fair cop". Is there anything at all that is beyond the pale (pun only partially intended)? Is there nothing that can't be swept under a rug because we "need" them?
  5. Seems that pro and anti-Massone factions were spending more time singing/ shouting at each other than watching the game, and two came near to handbags before the polis stepped in. I thought that as well, but there may well be genuine supporters from "forn parts" than people with any connection to Massone. Maybe. Honestly, Livi are a tragedy right now. How can such a small support divide into so many wee groups? As an Airdrie fan, I've been in the dark before. I know what it's like to see your club in the papers all the time for the wrong reasons - we've had more than our fair share of shysters and muppets, but Massone really takes the biscotti.
  6. He'll pay them on the first of April? How appropriate. I thought he'd decided that wages were to be paid on the last day of the month, contrar the contracts. So he's moved it again?
  7. Is it really necessary for papers like NotW to have words in CAPITAL LETTERS so often? Don't know about you guys, but I think it MAKES it annoying as hell to READ. The article itself was a bit of a let-down as well (never would have thought that, eh?) - just a summary of what everyone already knows.
  8. "...the smooth and professional way in which the club has been run over the past 14 years..."
  9. The benefit of what doubt? Seriously, what doubt can possibly remain?
  10. If the penny hasn't dropped by now it surely never will. How much more proverbial needs to hit these fans? It's blindingly obvious that something is rotten in the state of Livingston, and some people haven't noticed it after all this malarky then more isn't going to change their minds.
