  1. Interesting team selection for today. In defence I doubt ATS will start given his Antigua games therefore perhaps Hancock in his place although that could change if Watson's not ready to start. I'm struggling to see how we can accommodate Frizzell & McStravick in midfield so I'd expect Magic to start on the bench. Gabby continues to struggle up front and may lose his place but I'd give him another go.
  2. Cheers. Don't want you searching but if you know off hand what constitutes us being entry level for first team and Cumbernauld Colts being bronze? The legal/finance section doesn't really reflect well on us either give that our owner is a very successful financial adviser.
  3. It might be a necessity though to comply with SFA club licensing which has previously been mentioned on here. Don't ask me to explain all about this but if you have a spare week then it's here. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish-fa/football-governance/club-licensing/
  4. Tough ask for us, or virtually any other side in this league to take maximum points from another.
  5. Absolutely, it's fine to be optimistic as we've had a promising start but the real test will come when we hit a sticky spell and how we react. ICT are on theirs at the moment and are away at Raith on Saturday, but they seem in turmoil, no money, talk of part time football and calling for the Manager's head who was rewarded with a new 2 year contract after steering them to a Scottish Cup final a few months ago. Oh how quickly things change in football!
  6. Tough for skint Inverness to ditch Dodds as they've just given him a new 2 year contract. I wouldn't have thought this is a likely destination.
  7. I'm thinking it's a back 3 of Cassidy McCabe & Hancock in a possible 3-4-3.
  8. In fairness these measures are a massive improvement than what's currently in place for fans visiting Dundee!
  9. The students aren't doing great this year and the "Prince" has just added a 2nd. Whilst I'm not a great fan of the current format, winning is a good habit and I would expect the manager to put out a side to do just that.
  10. Willie also managed Bannockburn to a Scottish Amateur Cup success in the late 80's. Of course there was another famous diamond "Willie" who also led a local amateur club to the same trophy a few years later. One for the oldies?
  11. Interesting as McCabe himself said that him and McMaster play the same position and I'm not sure how our midfield with our current set up could accommodate Frizz & Magic. Telfer can fill a couple of roles though but the by far our best ball winner is Murray Aiken and because of that he's got to start.
  12. Methinks, this is a correct statement and some posters are on the wind up
  13. Interesting game after getting off to the worst possible start and some decent performances and the final score line flattered Dundee United even though they could have been 2 or 3 up at half time. The 2nd goal is something that's going to happen with the way we play but forgivable when you're chasing a goal in the final minute. For me, Murray Aiken once again our top performer and our best ball winner all over the park. Ballantyne also excellent again with Fordyce & ATs not far behind him. Most did well but Gabby still looking a bit sluggish after his injury. McStravick showed great ability and will excite the fans even though he gave the ball away a lot, but he'll only improve. G Gallagher kept it simple when he came on and had a decent debut. Hancock not so much but settled down after a really shaky start. Lot's of positives and the majority of fans will be happy with our decent start although looking at the league table and despite being 5th, I can't help feeling a little disappointed that we're only 3 points of 2nd bottom as it doesn't really reflect our performances. Fine margin's I suppose in this league.
  14. He's in along with Hancock Watson on the bench which surely must be an injury.
  15. Magic McStravick, interesting. I'm sure he'll be on the bench today but hope we're in a position to bring him on.
  16. Probably true but until his transfer was confirmed he was taking up a wage.
  17. It would be a big ask to for one of these 2 guy's to make there senior pro debut's at Tannadice. As someone mentioned earlier a more likely option would be tweaking the system with Todorov or Hancock coming into the starting 11.
  18. Definitely an option and it easily adapts to 3-4-2-1 but we've got to be flexible at times. Big ask to give a debut to Dunlop in such a difficult game.
