Yes, I agree with you. That is a pity. -
9 in a row rightly or wrongly

Ironically, that was the fixture where Hearts LOST* the 1985/86 the Championship. Playing at Tynecastle against the team that was rock bottom of the league and already relegated (just like Hearts are now), Hearts were expected to win by a significant margin. Hearts won only 1-0 and blew their chance to eliminate any possibility of losing the league on goal difference. This is why Celtic were champions that season. Hearts bottled it. Of course this fact doesn't fit with the Hearts' supporters narrative that the Championship was stolen from them by bad boys in the West of Scotland. -
League Reconstruction 20/21 season

Are we to understand that, if Hearts had been aware earlier that the season was going to end after 30 fixtures, they would have done something different to make sure they weren't 4 points adrift at the bottom at that stage ? Did they have a trump card in reserve that they were deliberately holding back for the post-split phase that never was ? That's cunning. -

As all these questions are addressed to either Celtic or Rangers fans shouldn't the thread belong in the Bigot v Bigot section ? -

League Reconstruction 20/21 season

Hearts won't be "voted" out. A decision will be made, setting a precedent for any similar future circumstances, that the team at the bottom when the fixtures are ceased, perhaps based on points per game, will automatically be relegated. There won't be a multi-option voting form for the member clubs to put a X against the victim of their choice. -

I think it's unfair that Hearts should be relegated just because somebody at the SPFL happened to pick their name out of a hat. Oh, isn't that what happened ? Oh, what's that, they were bottom of the league table were they ? What, by 4 clear points ? Adrift. Marooned. -
Heart of Midlothian 2014-

Presumably a cease and desist notice from their solicitors ? -
It's not her fault. Blame it on the Snakes of Paisley, proudly the Nemesis of Heart of Midlothian since 1986.

Also the number of home fans who don't attend the game when Rangers fans are in town.

Two can play that game ....... I'll not be buying my next Bentley from Parks of Hamilton dealership. And I'll hire my luxury air-conditioned coaches elsewhere as well. Aye, f*ck him. Who's sorry now ???

Hearts are considering their position. BOTTOM !!!!!!
-
Just a thought, new signings from other Scottish clubs are likely to have played in this year's tournament for their previous club making them already cup-tied and therefore ineligible for the delayed ties.

Just wondering if that surprisingly aggressive statement from ICT really was composed by Ross Morrison or has he been asked to put his name to the words of A.N. Other.
-
I doubt it. You'd still be a Rangers fan.

Dundee have to cast their vote by 6pm tomorrow and will have until Friday at 2pm to change their mind.

Well it's dead easy to make a statement like this when you know there's a snowball in Hell's chance of the independent inquiry being voted through. Moral high ground claimed at no extra cost. Such a lovely club that Aberdeen. Really nice people every one of them.
