    Hearts won't be "voted" out. A decision will be made, setting a precedent for any similar future circumstances, that the team at the bottom when the fixtures are ceased, perhaps based on points per game, will automatically be relegated. There won't be a multi-option voting form for the member clubs to put a X against the victim of their choice.

    I think it's unfair that Hearts should be relegated just because somebody at the SPFL happened to pick their name out of a hat. Oh, isn't that what happened ? Oh, what's that, they were bottom of the league table were they ? What, by 4 clear points ? Adrift. Marooned.

    Just a thought, new signings from other Scottish clubs are likely to have played in this year's tournament for their previous club making them already cup-tied and therefore ineligible for the delayed ties.

    Dundee have to cast their vote by 6pm tomorrow and will have until Friday at 2pm to change their mind.

    Well it's dead easy to make a statement like this when you know there's a snowball in Hell's chance of the independent inquiry being voted through. Moral high ground claimed at no extra cost. Such a lovely club that Aberdeen. Really nice people every one of them.

    This "third biggest customer " comment in Deans' opening remarks is a very significant statement. What's his point ? What's the relevance of the size of the club involved ? Quite clearly the inference from Dean's was that the SPFL should be making the 'size' of Hearts a consideration before daring to relegate them. Presumably it would've been ok to pump a club like Accies, County or St Mirren out if they had been bottom of the league when the music stopped. Arrogant wee chancer.

    According to Ben Palmer in the Sport section of today's Times newspaper only 3 of the 12 were 'receptive to the idea' of reconstruction. Hearts obviously, plus Celtic and Motherwell. By my arithmetic that would make 9 opposed to it, not 6.

    PJ, Bearing on mind that Hearts (perhaps Mrs Budge) have attached themselves to Rangers' coat tails on this issue, are you happy with the contents of the dossier and the tone of it's delivery ? Is it as "explosive" as you would have hoped / anticipated ? Just asking, genuine questions, no irony or dig intended.
