On Open all mics, Miller has a habit of screaming "Goooooooal". Then talking for 2 full minutes without offering any detail as to who has actually scored.

Can I just shock you? I don't actually mind Derek Ferguson. Yes he comes across a bit dim, but at least he actually has a fairly decent idea what he's talking about and has a decent knowledge of the teams and the players he's paid to talk about, especially in the Championship.
I concur with previous posts. Alan Preston is an absolute p***k and I really don't know what he brings to the show.
Also, I enjoy Michael Stewart. I don't always agree with him, but he's a good listen.

It's genuinely mental that Willie Miller still gets paid for this shit. Fair fucks to him for wangling a wage at something he is absolutely hopeless at for all these years.
He offers nothing insightful to any conversation.

What boxes does he tick according to Miller? I'm guessing he wasn't pressed for this.
Ranjurz man and he likes an orange jersey. Sounds like the perfect fit to me.

Gerrard after his defeat in his first game at Villa: "It seems like the world is against us but we'll make sure we get better for that because it looks like some more decisions will go against us as the season goes on.
"We need to try and use it to our advantage. It's not just today, I believe it's been happening for seasons. That's just my opinion."

Can't believe he's away to a smaller club. Beamer.

The lads on the FF are genuinely mentalists, eh? They will use every platform to spout pish about how terrible Scottish football is, and then use the very same platforms to bang on about "stopping the 10" and winning "the 55".

So was Rooney actually sent off.
I was driving and listening to Sportsound. Kettlewell couldn’t make his mind up and in the end never confirmed one way or the other.

Can’t Hibs just bring in 10 emergency loans and get on with things? I thought that was protocol.

Stopped reading as soon as the first person suggested Bates.

This was a very strange game only to grab snippets of. I was doing stuff and only caught 5 minutes here and there. Every single time I sat down we were dominating, Dundee looked hopeless, yet the second time I drop in we're one goal down, yet still dominating the game. That pattern continued pretty much for the next hour with me watching the game for all of about 20 minutes in separate bits. Each time the same, each time we looked completely dominant, Dundee looking awful.
Yet the scoreline remains the same, with both sets of fans claiming we were awful.
Very odd.
We were dominating what though?
McMullan was constantly causing us problems. The Dundee midfield were first to absolutely everything.
Other than possession stats, I’m not really sure what we dominated.

It rips my knitting when Goodwin bangs on about possession stats after a defeat.
He talks like it actually means something.
Yesterday reminded me of Danny Lennon’s time with is. About 65% possession, all of it among our defence and goalie just popping it about and going nowhere with it.

Anyone who watched the game, was the Brophy penalty shout a yay or a nay?
Everyone round me was screaming for it but there didn’t look too much in it to me.

Absolutely rubbish from us.
Sad to say, but it looks like Flynn is finished at this level.
McAllister never was good enough for this level.
Tanser had a stinker and doesn’t look like he’s recovered from the hamstring strain.
We created absolutely nothing and deserved nothing from the game.

I don't think the freeze frame proves anything TBH. It was a shot looking head on at Kelly. It's hard to actually see if his heel is actually touching the line or not.
The image posted earlier in the thread from behind the goal, looks far more like he is just about touching the line than anything shown on Sportscene.
If I was a Well fan I'd be far more raging about the initial penalty award than I would be the re-take.

Is the rule that he needs to keep one foot on the line?
He did that did he not?
I've only seen the shite Sportscene camera angle, which admittedly isn't the best view, but I thought he looked off the line.
With that said, it's a close call and I'd have been fuming if the re-take was awarded against us.

Don't really see the issue with the re-take of the penalty. Kelly is clearly off of his line when it's taken. A re-take all day long. The awarding of the penalty in the first place? I'm not so sure that's a foul.
The absolute state of the Sportscene highlights by the way.

I'd be interested to see in how many games in which Rangers have been behind have they been awarded a penalty or the opposition had a red card in say the last two years.

I'd rather see refs forced to come out post-match and explain major decisions than have them declare their team.

What's becoming frustrating is us absolutely dominating possession and having numerous chances and then going on to have a mad 5-10 minutes where we concede two goals.

Given our injuries to key players who'd have been certain starters, I'd take a draw TBH.

Which player will Aribo try and hospitalise today? McGrath is my guess.
