I agree with you about him still being early in his career and it might turn out he hits a bit of reality this season with queens. But I just have a feeling he could continue to do really well and id rather he did that with us than elsewhere. We might still have won the league with a traditional type of manager but the manner in which his team did it, coupled with all the positive noises made by players and staff about the running of the club, has helped turn the disaster of the relegation season and the rangers vote situation into a feeling of optimism that might not have been there under an old school manager. Connelly - st johnstone, Chisholm - dundee. When connelly left I was disappointed but not too worried about it. When chisholm left I didnt really care one way or the other. If johnston leaves I will be very dissapointed and worried about what happens next. It just feels like he has got the right attitude towards all aspects of the job - eye for a player, willing to play and nuture younger players, playing style, progressive training methods and his relationship with his players is fantastic (if you ever speak to any of them). I have to agree with your assessment! I keep looking in on the OS hoping for a statement from the club that is more than just spin, and keep being dissapointed

I just sent an email to some of the addresses on this thread and got a mailer-daemon notice from the supporters@scottishfa.co.uk one and also from the sandra.buchanan@scottishfa.com one. Are these addreses correct or have they just set it up to bounce emails straight back?

If that is a genuine statement I actually feel a bit sick. For the first time in this whole saga I am considering whether I will be supporting my team next year. I have just about had it with this bullshit! I had thought that as long as my club voted against the Division 1 option I would still turn up at Palmerston, even if newco got into the first through the votes of other teams. But the lengths that those at the top are prepared to stretch to, have made me question whether i can justify any interest in scottish football at all! Next season would have been my 20th following Queens and i was looking forward to an attempt at winning the second divison title. Now I feel like giving it up altogether! I hope there are enough SFL chairmen prepared to do the right thing and restore my faith in scottish football
