  1. Behave yourself JG. You boy are on a stinking run. Shouldn’t be commenting on any team in all honesty. Offered nothing last week for a team that should offer much more
  2. Looking forward to my ‘home game’ in the away end. Would be the biggest loss to me if we ended up going down. Two decent points already for us this season against Aberdeen and last year we fared well against them too. Would be more than happy with another point tomorrow night but can’t see it
  3. Really does feel like two points lost which is annoying. Performance certainly deserved more. Feel we can get points from Aberdeen and Motherwell though.
  4. How can Thompson genuinely not think that’s a foul on McCart in the build up to their 3rd goal. Slowed down it’s as clear as they come.
  5. That second half performance was so so good. Hard to know where to start. Liams pass for the second was outstanding. McCart was brilliant. And Booth brings so much more than Tanser in a 4-4-2. Thought I’d be more disappointed not to win today but a point gained on hopefully (accies result tomorrow) two around us. Would take another point midweek. Only disappointment for me was not getting into the muirton at 1:50/2. Had left Aberdeen early to try get down and catch up with some mates watching the football pre match but ended up in the ground from 2, first full warm up I’ve seen in years.
  6. Strangely quite looking forward to today. Should be a decent crowd and atmosphere. As good as Naismith and Boyce are, I still think we can contain them. Would probably settle for a draw with others around us having tricky looking fixtures
  7. I’m happy with the window. Would have been a nice bonus to get Rooney in just now as well but assuming we stay up he will be a good addition. McCart whilst young looks a decent prospect, two relative unknowns and tying hendry down on another two years. Disappointed to lose Kennedy but aside from that I think a good window all in.
  8. Let’s not forget the fact that the big Estonian was absolutely awful for us. Watched him play a reserve game against Aberdeen and he was ripped apart by their youngsters all game. He may be a decent player and it might be that the pace of our game was quicker than he’s used to, but jeez he was dreadful. Two loans in tomorrow and it’s been a decent window (MK aside).
  9. Is that to be relegated (through either means) or purely to finish 12th and go down?
  10. Frustrating that we have the Celtic game midweek with what is probably our biggest game of the season to date just 3 days later. If we had a squad of 21 it would be a no brainer to rest some in advance but unfortunately we don’t have that luxury. Damage limitation 3-0 defeat wed followed by a 1-0 graft win on sat would be ideal.
  11. Said last night that the best thing we can do is get 3 points. Then go from there. McCart in early would be a good start and if we can get another midfielder in then great. Ralston and Holt will both be unavailable for OF games so it makes it even more important we recruit in the next week, hopefully Brown and Co soften their approach towards recruitment as it’s massively clear how much we need it.
  12. Probably an unpopular opinion here. But I actually thought Kane was very good before going off. By very good, I guess I mean he worked his socks off, had some good link up play and made some good runs etc. But decent none the less. McCann is far too good for us, really hope we can keep him for a couple of years but if we don’t we have to be taking in a substantial fee. Some potential for him. Gordon was outstanding and bossed it. Tanser looked infinitely better with much less defensive responsibility. Great win and as a club let’s start looking up again
  13. I said as much last night. But it’s a fickle sport and if we can get a win today and results tomorrow go our way, all of a sudden things start to look up. McCart gets brought in next week and we sign 2 midfielders on loan and then the gloom is lifted. First thing we have to do is get a result today and then the off field issues becomes less of an issue
  14. What’s most important just now is trying to get 3 points tomorrow which would temporarily take us 9 points clear. We’ve been in dire places before, last transfer window a prime example. Fingers crossed this is resolved quickly
  15. Don’t have a quote to the link. But that story with RT from Tommy is damning towards Brown and the club. It really does feel like this is make or break in terms of Wright even wanting to stay at the club
  16. Zero agendas from me. But personally don’t feel we ever get the full story from Tommy when it comes to transfer dealings
  17. In all honesty I think I’d be more inclined to believe what he says tomorrow than anything that comes out of the club at present
  18. Thomson’s comments on Twitter there about the interview probably shedding some light on the whole thing. Be an interesting read no doubt
  19. If (and at this stage it looks a big if) we manage to stay up this year. You’d hope this will be the final kick up the arse Brown needs to see that all the good will he has is disappearing fast. It’s not inconceivable that we could still make a couple of good additions this window but quotes like today don’t exactly fill us with confidence. Two huge Saturday home games coming up.
  20. What an absolute shitter of a window so far with not much in the pipeline going by today’s comments. Surely we have to now get a couple in (on loan you’d imagine) to counteract losing Kennedy today. If not, we are as good as down for me.
  21. Well that’s a bit of a blow. Just when things were looking up, we lose last night, Kennedy deal is all we are all worried about & now arguably our most important player is ruled out for a spell of 8-10 games
  22. Devlin or Taylor on loan for the season and one other in permanent and I’d seriously consider it. What amount would we be realistically looking for? I genuinely have no idea what would be offered/accepted
  23. It would have to be a permanent deal if we did any kind of swap. Zero point in a loan deal till the end of the season. Would love to know the figures for what we offered and what Aberdeen have offered.
  24. With county being heavily linked with Donaldson, is he not a player that would be a great addition for us? Especially on a pre contract.
