  1. Think they’ll be going for the win. They beat us with 10 men at Falkirk after all so that should give them belief. Just hope we can pick up from where we left off on Saturday and start well again. Huge 3 points for both teams.
  2. Likewise. Any high profile Rovers fans are a good thing as far as I’m concerned and to be fair, they have both put their money where their mouth is at some point. Brown during Reclaim the Rovers and Val through sponsorship.
  3. Always thought Dundee would win the league in the end in much the same way Killie did last year. Starting to look like Queen’s Park are taking on the Arbroath role this year by falling at the final hurdle. Still feels like Rovers have left it too late to break into the play offs but win tonight and on Saturday and you just never know.
  4. To be fair the Rovers support is fairly even handed when it comes to politically minded high profile supporters. Happy to seethe about Val McDermid and Gordon Brown equally.
  5. That’s an amazing stat. So, with this hoodoo to break followed by the Inverness hoodoo on Saturday…it’ll all be fine. Pretty much win or bust again tonight. Hopefully we can repeat the performance on Saturday and get ourselves back into the mix.
  6. No match thread for such a make or break game for both teams? One point guarantees Rovers Championship football next season. Three points puts us right back in the promotion play off.
  7. Gordon Brown in the directors box with Willie McGregor. Mean anything or just the annual invite?
  8. Good performance today with McDonald’s penalty save the highlight. Great to be hanging in for our play off ambitions, although still very much an outside bet. Hamilton on Tuesday another huge game. Three points to edge up the table but a win and we’re officially a Championship team next season.
  9. Why bother with stewards when you can leave it up to individual supporters, some of who are at games with their kids, to police the fuckwits?
  10. Astounding that some folk think arseholes acting like arseholes isn’t the real problem and the real fault lies with people failing to confront the arseholes. Jesus.
  11. The morning after the night before and can’t get too upset about yesterday. Would have been nice to have won another cup but having won it last year it doesn’t feel like too bad a blow in all honesty. And as someone said earlier it’s not as if we didn’t know that this team can struggle to score or have off days or put in extremely poor halves of football. Unfortunate that yesterday we got the poor side of our Jekyll and Hyde team. Big test of the mentality in our next two games. Two matches at home to bounce back and put ourselves back into play-off contention. Six points and we could be right back in it. Draws or defeats and it’ll be a bit of damp squib end to the season.
  12. Didn’t accuse anyone of lying. The ‘if they did’ was purely because I hadn’t seen it myself. Idiotic behaviour which will cost our club money.
  13. These moments are absolutely to be celebrated. Anyone claiming they aren’t needs to get in the bin.
  14. Love the atmosphere the young guys bring but throwing smoke bombs onto an Astro pitch, damaging seats (if they did) and recent reports of attempting to bring back pavement dancing after games can all GTF
  15. Only thing worse than Rover’s first half no show is eejits on social media calling for Murray to be sacked.
  16. Been impressed with his ability to hold up the ball and protect it since he signed, but today he wasn’t even doing that. And he was injured. Think he was definitely the right choice to come off.
  17. Well done Accies. Fully deserved. As for Rovers, you can’t fail to show up for 45 minutes in a final and expect anything. With hindsight, the sending off was the only thing that gave us any hope but a combination of quality goalkeeping and poor final balls meant it wasn’t to be. Kind of sums up our season. Stay up and rebuild is the best we can hope for.
  18. Think that’s a bit harsh on Murray. Isma was rank rotten when he was on and holding his back for about ten minutes before he went off. If he’d been left on, the likelihood is he’d have kept doing nothing.
  19. Probably sounds about right, but with all the other contenders to play then if we went on a run we could get ourselves back into contention. Would need a consistency we haven’t found yet this season and a few other results going our way I suspect.
  20. Looking at the League table, if we win our game in hand then we are only 4 points off the 4th play off spot. If Inverness beat Partick on Friday then the potential gap could close even more. Fixture pile ups and needing to win our games in hand crucial obviously, but is the dream still on? Maybe it’s just cup final fever gripping me.
  21. Had enough with kid on hard men and pavement dancing back in the 80s. Please keep that shite away from our club.
  22. Saturday was class. Can’t understand why anyone of a Rovers persuasion would have wanted to leave early, but each to their own. The club got their money so it’s all good.
