1. "5 years ago Coldplay were being tipped as the next U2, today I would buy a Coldplay album and sh*t on it" You gotta love Nash and the screwjob was a work!, cause Nash said so!
2. Hogan as a face in the 90s, really? Thats why I said 20 years because he wouldnt top Hogan in the 80s. Bret Hart- absolutely not. When was Bret ever the top face in the WWF never mind of the last 20 years Austin - you could argue, you could argue, but he wasn't around at the pinnacle of the WWE success which shows you that the Rock more than did the job as a face .
3. You could argue that but MacMahon was part of the Corporation as was the Rock both equally heelish as the other. Who screwed Austin, the top face at that time, at the Royal Rumble, and beat the sh*t out of Mick Foley in the same night, that's your top heel right there. The WWF champion who is heel is definately your top heel in the company. So it wasn't the worse segment on Raw like you said, I think you've over exaggerated?
4. That's what I took exception to as it is completely false. Mortonfc claimed that Cole "generates heat that King never got when JR was around". Heenan was better than them both, I agree but he was never relevant in this discussion.
5. King never had that freedom that Michael Cole has just now with the exception of the ECW stuff back in the 90s. King was and always will be a better heel commentator then Michael Cole.
6. Vince was an on screen character who had a couple of match in the Attitude Era, not a constant performer like The Rock or Hollywood Hogan was at the time. Ok why did the Rock's heel turn in 98 not work? It could have been done better I agree but I don't believe for what second you considered turning off your tv while that segment was on.
7. What pish! The Rock became WWF Champion at Survivor Series 98 turning heel in the process until mid 1999. Which is 8 months in itself. January 2003 until Backlash was is second heel run. The Rock was never number 2 to anyone. Rock was a heel 98-99 so you can't compare that. And then Austin wasn't even around for the WWE's height of their success, early 00. Who says you have to be around forever to be a great heel, I'd stick Muhammed Hassan right behind the Rock as the best heel of the last 20 years, how long was he around for?
8. LIke I said, Vince was a face going into 2000 as Armageddon was and has always been the December PPV.
9. What bollocks. You mean to say that 2 all time greats in a stare down was turn off material? I noticed no one took the bait the first time. Would you turn off if this was on your tv screen. What! Now I'm marking out, details? Are you really comparing a Michaels Cole interview with Jerry Lawler to another mark out moment such as... the Naitch acknowledging you at a TNA event? Believe me I'm there if Big Sexy is in Scotland.
10. Isn't marking when u go insane for something that is exciting, not something that is good? The 2/21/11 promos were mark out material, HHH and Taker staredown was mark out material. Cole interviewing Lawler is not mark out material.
11. Vince was a face in late 99 up to Wrestlemania 2000 which was well into April.
12. Can't take him seriously knowing he's just an insignificant commentator, he has absolutely no power within the company and never has so why should fans just accept that he's now someone of importance. He's no Vince, simply put. I didn't see anyone praising Coach when he was doing the exact same thing in 04-05...
13. All of these storylines just seem so last minute, really lazy booking and just stink of overall pishness. TNA missed the oppertunity of the cetnury in terms of writing and storylines and just an overall good mind for wrestling in Paul Heyman. I think it's been proven in the past year that Hogan doesn't know much at all in the way of creative.
14.

I'm not a big fan of this shoot stuff and bringing King's mum into it was completely unneccesary. Cheap heat for someone people shouldn't give a sh*t about.

Triple H was he most popular guy on RAW from 02-05 and he was a heel in doing so. You can be a popular heel, look at the way the Rock drew heat when he was a bad guy, it was funny, it was insulting and the crowd ate it all up it was that good. Compare that to what Cole did last night it just shows you don't have to go that far to generate heat. Doesn't matte if you couldn't dislike him, HHH was heel at WM against Cena and he got cheered. Randy Orton as of late was getting more and more cheers until he turned face. If HHH or Taker was to turn heel just now, they'd still get cheered.
15. Name a bigger face than Rock 99-02? or a bigger heel than Rock in either 98 or 03?
16. Absolutely, but its all about what the Rock wants to do. If he's willing then I'd fire Rock in a match without any hesitation with Cena. That would be match of the decade. I always liked Rapper Cena, its this superman stuff the WWE have had him do for the past 6 years. Shut up. What would you he did? I'm absolutely delighted for the Rock that he made it in hollywood. Getting paid twice as much as he would when he was in wrestling and without the damage to his body as well. How was the Rock supposed to come back in? Being a little mark, cut a promo about how he's so excited about this that and the next thing? Course not, why? cause he's the Rock, the best heel of the last 20 years, the best face of the past 20 years and the best talker the wrestling world has ever seen. It wasn't though was it. What do u not mark out for? Seems to be a regular occurance. You'll be marking out for R-Truth in a minute. Not really, Edge and Benoit done it while Benoit was champ, they done it with Cena as champ with Batista and HBK a few years back too.
17. True but the atmostphere would be electric in MSG compared to Stadiums which I don't think can generate the same kind of excitement. Platinum package is around 1200 dollars, gold is 1000ish silver package is 700 dollars. I'm same, I would want to be pretty close to ringside too.
18. I love the heat Bischoff gets when he starts beating on The Lyrical Mircale at ONS 05.
19. Rocking Around the Xmas Tree stays on my Ipod all year round, not just at Xmas time.
20. The other thing with it being in Miami next year is that, you could hit a TNA event as well if you went for a week, providing they are still in the Impact Zone. Friday - Axxess, Meet and Greet Saturday - Wrestlereunion (is usually in the afternoon), HOF at night. Sunday- WrestleMania Monday - RAW Tuesday - Impact! What an incredible long weekend that would be.
21. Aye I'd be looking to spend about that for everything. The WWE package deal includes tickets to Meet and Greet with 1 top superstar, Axxess, Hall of Fame, Wrestlemania and this year they included RAW. The package you can get are Platinum, Gold and Silver. Platinum gets you within the first 10 rows of seats at WM, gold further back and then silver is the first set of raised flooring or something like that. What I've gathered from a bit of research is that most of the money comes from accomodation as they put you in quite fancy hotels. Flights are paid for seperately. WM30 will be in MSG I reckon, so I'd definitely consider that.
22. Done a bit of research into the Wrestlemania and the packages the WWE offer. Does anyone have any additional information about these packages and if they are really worth it or is it better to buy WrestleMania , Hall of Fame, RAW and Axxess seperately. Just looking at the cost side of things just now.
