  1. I absolutely agree but c'mon Randy Boreton? really?
  2. Rollin or American Badass? Kid Rock theme was a lot better for Takers character at the time.
  3. Think your forgetting one S. Hall and one L. Zybsyko Either the nWo or The Rock's music for the guitar solos. Notable mentions go to Ahmed Johnson, nWo wolfpac, Austins disturbed version, and Chris Benoit's from 2002-2006. CUrrently AJ, Joe and Drew McIntyre?
  4. Having just watched some ICWonline on Youtube, I can safely say Kid Fite cuts a great heel promo. What's their gimmick?
  5. Aye, the whole 8 card stud thing, that happened at Against All Odds on PPV which Pope won, then got bitched of AJ at the next PPV. Why build up something like that on PPV if it ultimately led to nothing?
  6. They brought good TV for 4 months, the wrestling and storylines were utter pish. The product they put out now is a lot better than what they were doing for the first 4 months of Hogans arrival. Well if you don't watch it enough to know who left why are u commenting on it? Back in 2005 TNA would have guys work on a pay per appearance sort of thing. They weren't signed to TNA they could go from TNA to ROH to any other company out there. AJ, Abyss, Daniels, Joe , Shelley, all these guys worked for ROH at the time as well. I don't doubt for one second Hulk has creative control, he's just not part of the creative team. They'll have a say in what their character does, not much else I would imagine. So does that make it less impressive because he was doing it 11 years ago. Hogan and ROck had one of the best matches ever but because he was headlining Wrestlemania 11 years earlier does that make the 2002 match shit? Course it doesn't, shit argument.
  7. I'm not a TNA fan boy, I slate it when it needs to be slated but you can't say it's not entertaining.
  8. Why was it stupid? He still sells a ton of merch and it was something fresh and new, seeing Jeff Hardy for the first time in his career as a heel. Another thing, nobody saw it coming either. You've got to be kidding me! The first 3/4 months of the Hogan/Bischoff reign was f*cking awful and that's the reason numbers didn't go up despite more exposure, it was awful. The whole monster push for Abyss and the stupid ring angle? Give me a break.. What talent left and what talent got worse? Daniels? Hulk and Bischoff are on screeen characters, they dont have jobs in creative at all I'm sure. Dixie is a terrible on screen character however. The promos are too long yes, but entertaining? Bubba Ray Dudley just powerbombed AJ through a table from off the top of the stage last week on Impact. What more do you want?
  9. Out of interest what has TNA done that has been so rotten and unwatchable?
  10. I just don't think TNA could ever come up with a revolutionary angle that will make heads turn. Every storyline for the past wee while has all been done before. War Games was a great concept. Epecially the Horseman vs the NWO with the 2 Stings, I've watched that match a good 4 or 5 times. Commentary from the match is great as well and really adds to the idea that NWO were on top.
  11. Why? It's the only competition WWE have and when WWE have competition they will produce good stuff. I hope it doesn't go out, it's just the creative and booking side that all needs a change. As i said they missed the boat big time when they didn't do everything they could to sign Heyman. I can stress highly enough how good that WM21 match really is. And I'll go with the New Age Outlaws, stupidly over for a tag team. Road Dog had charisma by the bucket load and Billy Gunn could get it done in the ring. They were the top tag team of the Attitude Era without question.
  12. The video of Hall and Zbysko and the Fleamart is hilarious as well.
  13. Great match. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NteM-jG6550
  14. No way was tht the main event. JBL won the title of Guerrero at that PPV and held it until WM 21.
  15. I thought it was Lawler. Brilliant, just another brilliant episode from last call. Just completely rips into the "Jay-brone" that has the stall. Hall - "And what time do we start?" Jay-brone - "Ummm i would imagine arouns noon would be a good time" Hall - ".....so I'll be our about 1ish!"
  16. If this isn't a 5 star match then nothing will ever be. What a Sweet Chin Music at 3.10
  17. HBK vs Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 21 was one of the best wrestling matches I have ever seen. No doubt Michaels rises to the occasion for every Wrestlemania and can make anyone look good, thing is Kurt Angle didn't need looking good. It was just a fantastic match. The crowd involvement as well was excellent and even with Kurt as a heel many of the fans still cheered for Angle that night.
  18. The Rock and Taker had a match at No Way Out in 2002. Easy mistake. When you look at it the streak isn't all that impresive at all when you look at the effort taken to create it. Taker got to a certain point with the streak and they've pushed it since. All it takes is once a year, an established superstar with no real feud faces Taker and loses. Until Taker actually loses it which I think he should, no one is going to give a shit about another Undertaker match at Wrestlemania.
  19. I'd go as far as saying Scobbie was our best player up until Xmas.
  20. How long til BOB leaves our club, I'm struggling to find the countdown page and use it to cheer me up?
