  1. That's just the thing. I mean really, with whats going on in WWE (Elimination Chamber PPV and Mania coming up), who really cares what TNA are doing just now. I watched the first 5 minutes of Against All Odds last night and then turned it off, that's how disinterested in TNA I am just now. The thing is, there is nothing they can do just now to hold any wrestling fans attention at the moment.
  2. If you couldn't care less about what I like then why did u feel the need to address it? Much like this Beiber lad that everyone is on about, he's filled a gap in the target market in America and onwards, fair play to him. Much like what the Backstreet Boys did in the 90s. Really? Where are you going with this?
  3. Not really, he came back to help Eugene and do something with the Diva search in 05. He's made a few little cameo appearances as well.
  4. Bottom line is, Kurt Angle is an olympian, gold medalist, multi time WWE champ, he shouldn't be working angles like this. He's a much more valuable asset than that. While his character is a shadowed, watered down version of what he was a decade ago, he's still a house hold name in the business. Yeah that happened in 05. Just after JBL one the championship off Eddie at Judgement Day I think. Surely they could have done something else rather than that to make the fued personal.
  5. Steady on, don't you know Mania 17 can never ever be topped? Highly unlikely. I've not watch the WWE in 6 years and I've watched his return about 20 times already. Exactly, The Rock comedy just seems so natural. But aye the Barney thing was great. Over the last few days I've completely forgotten about TNA. I don't know if I can be bothered watching Against All Odds, I've just no interest in what they are doing compared to whats going on in WWE just now. The Rock won't work a match with Cena I can see him doing some funny backstage segments and beign a guest referee but that's it really.
  6. Wrestlemania Revenge Tour For Glasgow: WWE Championship Match John Cena vs. The Miz Randy Orton vs. CM Punk And all of your favorite RAW Superstars including: The New Nexus John Morrison Sheamus Daniel Bryan Ted DiBiase Eve Melina And many more! That card looks likely to change in my opinion.
  7. That's fair enough but if TNA are trying to create new fans or bring new fans in, telling a story that is too personal to even know what's going on then they're not going to stick around too long. Not to mention this angle has been done before, which culminated at BFG a few years back. The Sandman's kid couldnt act which took away the realism of the storyline. Anyway I raise you Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio over the custody of Mysterio's son, what's your opinion on that storyline. PS I'm defo taking the day off work to watch Wrestlemania this year having seen that so need to get something organised. Even if there is no Sting and the end of these promos, you've got to give WWE credit. They have been excellent excellent promos that have left an huge degree of mystery in them, something that is desperately needed in any storyline in my opinion. Bigger, in my opinion, in this day and age.
  8. Rock looked as good as he ever did in 2003 with the head shaved, heel fued against Stone Cold. "Leaving Sacramento...." Quite frankly, that man has the right to say just about anything he wants to. The guy is a living legend. Goosebumps for the first time in 6 years I think. That moment was simply electrifying!
  9. And how long does that take before it's run its course? If that is the new kayfabe then in about a month, they won't have anything else to do. Did WWE make a storyline of Y2J, The Hurricane and Matt Hardy getting arrested, no. Why? Because it doesn't cater to the ehole audience and most won't have a scooby what is going on. TNA need ot break away from pleasing the core fanbase all the time. Is that where Raven had to come out and apologies for his actions? Aye, that sure did work.
  10. No, the Angle Jarrett stuff is nuts. Totally ridiculous. I saw the funny side of the MMA Challenge but this is just really lazy booking. It's a waste of time and talent and it's making me sick. I didn't think things could get worse than Abyssamania but this storyline is horse piss and doesn't reflect well on the company. When has a storyline that involved kids ever worked?
  11. I feel like ditching the sportsman's dinner too. And as for that Savage video further back. Look at how Hogan turns the guys question into something about what HE has done/accomplished and how HE was back in WWE for a period of time and not Macho. I love Hogan but he's an egomaniac. Hogan may say he's in TNA to get the younger talent over but I don't think he or anyone else in TNA believes that themselves.
  12. I took expection to Cena being branded as brilliant. He's quite clearly not. Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero or Shawn Michaels is the best all round professional wrestler that you can get. Those thre were brilliant, Cena will never come close to the level of those guys. Clearly not as he's in the biggest promotion in the business. The K-Kwik appreciation club - Member #1 - H. O T Day
  13. Thats the old WWF Championship from the mid 90s, they got rid of it in 98 when Stone Cold won at Wrestlemania.
  14. How could it not catapult him, its the modern day Hulk Hogan gimmick.
  15. Would he have got to wear he is today with the gimmick he currently has? The rapper gimmick got Cena over, that and the fact he joined Team Angle at Survivor Series.
  16. He's still a sh*t wrestler. He's funny because people want to find him funny. He get's the crowd reaction for what he has been over the past 6 years, the WWE's poster boy. If I was the poster boy of WWE I'd bet more than half the people would cheer for me and laugh for me because of who I am rather than what I am doing currently in the ring.
  17. oh hey Stiffler, how's the pale ale?

  18. Meltzer reporting there has been no contact what so ever between WWE and Sting.
  19. You can see why the writers kept going with it though. Like it or not, nWo was a huge marketing success and I'm sure WCW raked in a ton of cash through nWo merch. Matt Hardy had the sympathetic babyface thing going for him 5 years ago, it didn't come to anything. You have to laugh when guys on the IWC brand Lethal "a future TNA World Champ". That's a dsigrace to guys like Robert Roode who will eventually, and deservedly so, get his chance with the TNA World Heavyweight Belt. Absolutely, they frustrating thing is we know WWE are capable of producing a better product, the stuff on offer just now is nowhere close to what they could be doing. It doesn't even have to be edgier, WCW was PG from 96-99 if I'm correct?
  20. A bit behind but here I go... The Black Album Load Master of Puppets Ride The Lightning Garage Inc. ...And Justice For All Kill Em All Death Magnetic ReLoad St. Anger "Nothing wrong with" that! Sorry too easy. :D
  21. Daniels has been working a few matches on Xplosion under the Suicide gimmick but I think he's back on TV this week. He has a deal with TNA and ROH which prevents him from being anything other than Suicide. Has the Undertaker always been in the title picture? Did he take time away to be tag champs with Kane, or in 05 with Heidenrich after being in the title picture with JBL. The Rock done the same with the Rock n Sock Connection or how about HHH with his fueds with Eugene? Top guys aren't always in the main event/ title picture.
