  1. Watch yourself mate, he's Aberdeens top poster on here.
  2. I feel your pain. don't know if there's any way back from this.
  3. Mike Ashley has posted notice of his intention to take out security over Rangers' Ibrox Stadium. Documents seen by STV show that Sports Direct have filed their intent to add their name to the title deeds of the ground. Ashley has 35 days to complete the application but the lodging of documents indicates the owner of Newcastle United could be set to provide a secured loan to Rangers to provide badly-needed cash. Rangers have stated they currently do not have enough cash to trade until the end of January. Ashley notice of intent does not guarantee he will be the one to provide funding to the club but the move is significant for two reasons. Firstly no other party has previously been able to secure a loan against Ibrox because of a contingent liability listed in the club's accounts. The liability relates to a case brought by Craig Whyte, who claims he is the legal owner of the asset. Secondly the move by Ashley means that should any other party step up to provide funding to the club, they would not be able to secure their loan against Ibrox as the document lodged by Ashley takes precedence. The notice of intent would first have to expire before a security could be lodged. The club were unavailable for comment when contacted by STV on Thursday morning.
  4. @ChrisGraham76: Notice lodged with Land Register to mortgage Ibrox and Murray Park to Ashley Despite alternative funding available.
  5. Losing 2 closely contested kick abouts in the sun, I'm gutted.
  6. Is that loads of individual manky ringpeices or just one huge shared manky ringprice?
  7. I think we should just close this thread, the comebacks are getting worse.
  8. Seriously, that's the best you got, that wasn't worth the effort.
  9. Given time and constant overuse, on my part, of the word, I'm sure that'll rise to a 5,9.
  10. Cheers, i actually put an Aberdeen fan slabbering then, boom, i saw the connection and it all came together in a moment of sheer genius, I take all the credit here, 100% my own work and i'm hoping that i can repeat this in the next year or two. Watch this space.
  11. Losing a friendly to the Dutch league leaders is laughable! The only laughable thing in your post is a slaberdeen fan mocking the quality of the Dutch league. I think this wee run of games has gone to your head.
  12. Did he get anything in that post correct, except for his name? 'Seeing Celtic shite out of the title race and postpone a game against St Johnstone' the winter break was announced mid Nov. 'so they could go and lose to some pish' league leaders in the Dutch league, pish? The wee run Aberdeen have achieved has gone to your head.
  13. Challenge for the Premiership!!! Should they not concentrate on the league they're actually in first?! He has no self awareness. Their club is a loss making business and this walloper is shouting for new players to be brought in. Complete and utter basket case of a club and support.
  14. It's a sad state of affairs when you can count the Catholics your club has signed in it's 140yrs without removing your shoes and socks. .
  15. Yank back in. 8 January 2015 Revised Proposal Relating to Rangers International Football Club plc Further to the announcement on 6 January by the board of Rangers International Football Club plc ("Rangers") of their rejection of his initial proposal, Robert Sarver confirms that he has made a revised proposal to the board. The revised proposal involves investing up to £20 million for a majority shareholding by way of a placing of new ordinary shares in Rangers at 20 pence per share ("Placing") followed, if the Placing is completed, by a mandatory offer for the remaining issued and to be issued ordinary share capital under Rule 9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers ("Code") at 20 pence per share. As part of the revised proposal £6.5 million would be made available to Rangers in immediate short-term funding by way of a secured loan to be repaid in 90 days or out of the proceeds of the Placing. Nothing in this announcement constitutes an announcement of a firm intention to make an offer for the purposes of Rule 2.7 of the Code and there can be no certainty that any offer will be made. Mr. Sarver, who has owned the successful Phoenix Suns NBA franchise since 2004, is CEO of the $10 billion Western Alliance Bancorporation. He has already provided proof of funds to the Rangers board. Speaking from Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. Sarver commented: "This revised proposal hopefully helps the board deal with its short-term cashflow crunch and also addresses my desire to see the club on a solid long-term financial footing. It would also enable Rangers to repay the loans from Mike Ashley and Sandy Easdale, and free it of debt. "I know, of course, that there are various groups of prominent fans who have been working hard for a long time to bring change to the club and they can rest assured that, if my proposal is accepted, I am committed to building a strong partnership with fans and key stakeholders to do what is best for the club. "I look forward to receiving the response of the Rangers board."
  16. Alright, apart from the petitions, waving red cards, marching on Hampden, the aqueduct, sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health,,,,What have the spivs ever done for us
  17. Petitions, statements and waving red cards at things didn't save their club the first time round. Isn't the definition of madness doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?
  18. Had enough? Let them know. Sign and share the Enough is enough petition ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Our current directors have been shown to put themselves before shareholders by rejecting offers of investment from three parties and accepted short term loans from those they represent when investment has been available externally. We have just lost our most prized playing asset in Lewis McLeod and borrowed against his transfer fee to pay for immediate outgoings while two directors still on our board rejected £16m of external funding two months ago and the three directors who found this offer acceptable have been removed from the board. They have just appointed Mr Leach as Finance Director and he was also advising the board at this time even though he has close links to the eventual creditor selected, Mr Ashley. The fans signing this petition will no longer financially support this board. They will no longer buy match tickets, purchase anything inside stadium, merchandise nor online subscriptions We will however fully support an acceptable new regime by purchasing half year season tickets, match tickets, hospitality merchandise (on an improved deal) and online subscriptions. Fans should never be threatened again with claims that they are responsible for the financial position that we find ourselves in after buying 100,000 season tickets while in the lower leagues of Scottish football and regularly drawing crowds of 40,000+ Our playing budget is approx 33% of our turnover yet our club continues to haemorrhage money. This is not the fault of the fans who have supported the club financially throughout. The financial position is due to mis management of fans money and an inability to place contracts with the best interest of the club. There is investment available and, if required, immediate external funding which can be called upon while investment arrangements are made. Removing financial support from the fans will not lead to administration unless that is what the current decision makers wish due to external investors ability to lend while share issues etc are organised. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH NOT A PENNY MORE Craig https://www.change.org/p/rangers-plc...desc%3Acontrol
  19. I may be picking this up wrong but a PLC can't accept external investment, only through sale of shares.
