American sports know exactly where they are going way in advance. Not 4 days notice. And away fans travelling for sports is not popular at all.

It's actually quite sad this is how you judge how good a player is. Football isn't for you.

I can totally respect your reasons for not wanting to go. And anyone else’s for the obvious human rights issue. For me, I grew up thinking Scotland would be World Cup regulars and then didn’t see one again from when I was 17. I’m realistic enough to think this might happen again so I’ll personally go just because this might be the only time I get to see Scotland at a World Cup. Saying that, we’ve still not even qualified yet.

You should probably keep crying about it mate it worries me that some random on a forum is living in your head rent free. There’s more important things to worry about in life than opinions on international call ups. All the best to ya though

Nope. Wasn't an opinion. That's what they said at the time. If they changed their rules since then that's on them. I'm just saying what they said at the time. No evidence to suggest they've changed but they very well might have. We'll find out soon enough.

Not really. It's my opinion certain players have "made their bed". Specifically, Harvey Barnes. If he wanted a game for Scotland, he could have had 20 caps by now. He has one for England. He clearly values that more. I have no issue personally with that. Because players are eligible for more than one country, that doesn't automatically mean they would consider it. Andy Carroll openly said he would never had considered Scotland. Mark Noble the same for Ireland. Good for them. I was asked where I heard of the talk about players (Sam Gallagher in this instance) not being considered for Scotland. Considering they said it years ago, that was what I could find. It wasn't a secret at the time but I'm not trolling through pages of internet files. Either believe it or don't. That's not my problem. Also said they change their rules whenever they want. Again, not my problem. I personally don't think we should be chasing players for a game more than once. If we ask a player if they want to consider Scotland, the answer should edge towards YES or we should move on and pick players who actually want to play for us. Again, my opinion. You're more than entitled to your own that is different. Doesn't make either of us right or wrong.
