  1. The list below is lifted from WoS subforum. Darvel and Clydebank will be licensed so 8 that used to be in the SJFA plus St Cadoc's, Drumchapel United and the eight new Division 4 teams are the probable Strathclyde Cup entrants. Bellshill Athletic Bonnyton Thistle BSC Glasgow Campbeltown Pupils Drumchapel United Finnart Forth Wanderers Glenvale Harmony Row Kilsyth Athletic Kilwinning Rangers Neilston Port Glasgow Juniors Royal Albert Rutherglen Glencairn St Cadoc's St. Peters Vale of Clyde
  2. So a graphic correction then. That's my understanding.
  3. So no net change in numbers terms in the West once Annbank are factored in: https://www.nonleaguematters.co.uk/forums/index.php?threads/scottish-junior-cup-2021-22.4858/#post-101201 Interesting to see how many West clubs retained their SJFA membership - it seems to be 52 out of 63 with a question mark over Annbank who have sat this season out. The ten clubs who have not are: WoS Premier - Clydebank, Darvel, Kilwinning Rangers, Rutherglen Glencairn WoS Conf A - Bellshill Athletic, Forth Wanderers WoS Conf B - Port Glasgow Juniors, Royal Albert WoS Conf C - Neilston, Vale of Clyde So as was deduced in earlier posts Darvel and Vale of Clyde have left since last season but Newmains and Cambuslang Rangers have rejoined.
  4. Always assumed the EoS could do something analogous to having the "Beware of the Leopard" sign on the office where the plans for the demolition of Arthur Dent's house were kept at the start of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy to make SJC participation completely impractical. Despite the fixture list issues highlighted above Armadale Thistle and some of the other would be WoS applicants appear to have decided to proceed anyway. Interesting times ahead...
  5. Think if the dates were 100% set they would have been on the twitter graphics. They may have to flexibly work around whatever happens in the EoS and WoS with the balance of the games being in June? Not sure what to make of there being no Whitburn entry. Would have expected them to be one of the bitter enders on SJFA membership under this sort of scenario. Looks like some WoS clubs have rejoined the SJFA? Maryhill for example.
  6. That lines up with the Midland League schedule but maybe they had to adjust to accomodate the 7 (?) EoS clubs?
  7. Best guess so far from a post above with the first date appearing to be confirmed on an SJFA twitter graphic that subsequently got deleted and by a poster linked to Auchinleck Talbot: 25th September - Junior 23rd October - Scottish & Junior 27th November - Scottish & Junior Edit: or maybe events have moved on see above
  8. ...deleted old format from SJFA website that probably isn't relevant any more...
  9. Looks like the SJFA shifted the dates: Edit: the now deleted graphic appeared to mention the weekend of Sep 24 as the date for the Round 1 games.
  10. They issued their fixtures a lot sooner and had subject to change plastered all over the place from what I remember. Anyway, unlike some people on here I have no problem saying I was wrong and didn't see that one coming when events run counter to what i expect.
  11. Conference X clubs are definitely in the SJC draw despite league games being scheduled for the Round 1 & 2 dates. Will the bizarre blazer politics ever end.
  12. Fauldhouse United being in there is a bit of a bomb shell.
