  1. Think they use other sources like twitter to collate the FT scores so there's usually a long delay on that as well. Only SPFL and later round Scottish Cup games are covered live by that website.
  2. Elsewhere: So clear at the top with 9 points given the OG Broomhill score.
  3. See Hermes are in the Aberdeenshire Cup now: might be an indication that they have senior grade aspirations given the devil's illuminations and reasonably enclosed ground.
  4. Is Mitchell the guy from Raith Rovers again?
  5. Posted a tweet of a Bo'ness United goal last week on the LL subforum that somebody had put on twitter that very quickly got zapped. Guess that explains it but does being so strict about this stuff really make sense for anything below Championship level?
  6. Would that not be Threave that did that rather than Thorn?
  7. Have a seperate twitter account by the looks of things:
  8. There was a narrow road with passing places over a high peat bog at the northern end of Yell in Shetland that did come to mind on that where the scale of the potholes was concerned but it was closed to traffic decades ago. Apparently the rail bridge to Kherson also got zapped last night and wasn't being used prior to that anyway so a city twice the size of Dundee and its surrounding countryside now needs to be supplied over an already well-perforated two lane bridge over the Inhulets river via another bridge over a hydro dam on the Dniepr 100 km away that has already also been damaged. The Ukrainians are clearly trying to engineer another "goodwill gesture" from the Russian side to avoid street-by-street fighting, which is the sensible way to go if you actually value your soldiers' lives. Vlad clearly doesn't though and will lose a lot of face plus any chance at ever getting anywhere near taking Odessa if they withdraw so suspect the Russians won't leave that easily.
  9. Some interesting results elsewhere leaves the BUs top on goal difference with only OG Broomhill also on 6 points:
  10. This only appeared in the second half:
  11. ...then the next day after various unacknowledged concessions had no doubt been obtained the Russians bomb Odessa's port calling the whole thing into doubt. People need to wise up when dealing with Putin.
  12. P&B appeared to be down for the last 20 minutes. Here's one of the goals:
  13. No ATACMS for Ukraine: So the Kerch Bridge is safe for now. Have to wonder if that's linked to the grain deal in some way.
  14. American Switchblade drones have failed to live up to the hype by all accounts but they are sending more of the larger Phoenix Ghost ones along with 4 extra HIMARS vehicles.
  15. Think it's a case of NATO giving weapons more than the Ukrainians buying them right now. They've got no chance of capturing Odessa any time soon so it probably all revolves around not getting the blame for famines in certain parts of the Middle East and North Africa over the next year or so.
  16. Attacking midfielder who may have briefly been full-time with Aberdeen at one point by the looks of things: https://www.transfermarkt.com/jamie-hamilton/profil/spieler/234397
  17. Had one of these in Spain last week: Nothing special but definitely tasted good with the temperature at 42°C in the shade and no sign of any rain falling mainly on the plain.
  18. Ignoring this guy's usual immature antics it's worth noting that the SCC final last season only attracted 800 despite being Auchinleck Talbot vs Bonnyrigg Rose and that the LL is still not opening up pro/rel as they should. Telling the LL to ram it where the SCC is concerned and doing something without them for tier 6 and below only would have been a strong statement that isn't going to be tolerated.
  19. The Ukrainians appear to be shifting towards key infrastructure with HIMARS now that the low hanging fruit on ammunition depots have been taken out: There are three major bridges into the Kherson area from Russian occupied territory (two by road over the Dniepr and Inhulets rivers and one by rail over the Dniepr). If those are taken out Russia's hold on that part of Ukraine probably quickly becomes untenable.
  20. Nothing needs to happen above the LL for anything to happen below it. The two issues are not in any way linked. Even if nothing changes quickly another 5 to 10 seasons worth of relegation out of the LL will flush out the clubs that are in a false position right now in pyramid terms and after that the 3 up 3 down approach of the EoS and WoS is likely to prevail in an LL context as well. Think Threave defecting to the tenth tier WoS Fourth Division was the beginning of the end of the SoS at tier 6. Once Dalbeattie and Gretna have been relegated out of the LL it will be interesting to see whether they view the SoS as their long term home. There have already been strong indications that Gretna would prefer to be in the EoS.
