  1. Just as a wee aside about your thoughts on person X OR Y, as a recovering gambling addict myself, I've always considered Homer Simpson's mindset to be that of an addict, there's no way that character has developed randomly out of someone' mind.
  2. I'll bow to McCall and Lachlan regarding extensions for players, I've no idea how well or not our finances look after the Rangers tie, as for Shankland, the only way I'd accept us looking to keep him is if we do pull off an unexpected promotion, the boy has already did us and himself a turn by staying this season, we should be looking to get the boy the best move possible for him(NOT THE DUNDEE' OF THIS WORLD) in the summer instead of profiteering, that would be as good a selling point to any future signing targets as we could have, that is speculating to accumulate the correct way for a diddy club IMHO.
  3. Probably to the judge but I do think it was Findlay that was otherwise occupied in Glasgow.
  4. Stop that nonsense, you'll get in the top 6 next season as well.
  5. I'll be setting the big fermer on you if you keep that patter up.
  6. Obviously not, that would be 2 pinkies.
  7. Away and be a dick with someone else.
  8. I don't think he was joking at the time, he was pissed off that Findlay hadn't turned up and was taking his frustration out on the wee innocuous looking guy in the dock, there was certainly no clarification that the judge didn't mean it by the time I was outside talking to the wee fella and his mates.
  9. He got murder reduced to culpable homicide.
  10. It came across as an order to me as I sat in on it,I've no idea what actually happened after that day and I just remembered the wee guy mentioning stabbing someone in Fenwick to me, I just assumed that it was the hotel.
  11. My friend at the time was binning his QC and devising a wee plan with Mr McBride, the wee guy almost halved his jail time.
  12. I'm not saying he had to defend himself but that was what the judge said to him at the time, when I left that day the wee guy was still under the impression that he was defending himself on the Monday, he had been offered 10 years for a murder plea, ended up getting 10 years for a lesser charge, might not sound like a difference but you've no lifelong License for the 2nd, and you'll serve 40 months less.
  13. Probably but the wee guy didn't know that at the time, paid Findlay £8k and he was otherwise occupied, he did tell the judge that QC's have years to learn their stuff and he had a weekend to clue himself up, that was the only day I was there but he did get 10 years for killing someone at The Fenwick Hotel, he must have been about 5 foot and 8 stone.
  14. Was in attendance at Killie High Court on a Friday when the judge ordered the accused to defend himself on Monday morning as Mr Findlay hadn't and couldn't appear, you've never seen the colour and cockiness of anyone disappear so quickly, think he ended up with 10 years.
  15. Wilder doesnt do anything tight or orthodox though. He has insane punching power, but they dont from a fundamental base. If anyone is looking to finish that fight with a right hand directly down the pipe it should be AJ. If Wilder wins IMO it will be a temple shot/legscrambler from the left hook We're all entitled to our opinions, just think his camp will make him tighter. I'm still waiting for my man Dubois to burst on to the scene but he appears to be taking far far fewer fights than I expected(10 or 12 fights a year instead of 3 or 4), hopefully not a sign of him reaching his level in sparring.
  16. I'm not convinced Wilder will be throwing windmill punches against AJ, I'm an ex taxi driver and I could see early doors that AJ is just waiting to be hit by straight rights, Wilder has a quality straight right, his team are off their heads if they don't keep him fairly tight and wait for the red sea to part up the middle as it always does.
  17. Well aye, thats what I meant obviously. I'm just a bit underwhelmed by AJ, might just be the unwarranted hype he receives, for a giant I don't really rate his jab that much and defensively he hasn't improved a thing from his early fights, raking it in though, so a lot of people must see him differently.
  18. If AJ wants to truly be a student of the game he needs to adjust his style. He seems totally unable to fight long despite his size. He needs some more Lennox about him. You've got to have it in the 1st place.
