  1. The state system in general is poor in comparison, why the f**k shouldn't someone send their kids to a fee paying school if they can afford it.
  2. Not all Prods are the same, my eldest is a prod who'd battle anyone to uphold his daughters right to attend her school.
  3. Whilst I agree with you my eldest would say we're talking shit.
  4. I'm not having a pop at meals, bikes, music lessons, we've a very good head teacher whose exploits for poor children at her school was recognised on the honours list, it was actually an eye opener speaking to her and her staff about how hard life is for lots of their pupils, running their own food bank for kids and ensuring some kids are sent home with food for their dinner, bring tears to the hardest of hearts. Discussed the possibility of a scheme with sponsoring kids to take part in sport, dancing and music with another head teacher , he actually stated what a difference it would make if music lessons could be funded.
  5. I've said previously that this will be the last election where a majority is within reach, where the votes will go, who knows.
  6. Made an arse of what, I'm judging them on actions not words, anyone with the power of sight can see what they're underfunding of addiction services has done in communities all over the country. It's fucking shameful that folk like myself have chosen to give her a free pass due to independence. You batter on but more and more are realising the error of their ways.
  7. Aye, 14 years in after they're both at crisis levels, perhaps if we'd kept on top of them all through, our budget wouldn't be required to feed quite so many kids. When my youngest was 21 she knew far more dead people in her peer group than I did in my own and I'm giving her 25 years.
  8. I'd have preferred us take more of an interest in mental health and addiction services but who really gives enough of a f**k about those areas to vote for them. £180 million with a further £50m to £100m annually on tokenism certainly wouldn't have been better spent on those areas.
  9. No but I'm already embarrassed at having to vote for the SNP, thankfully it'll be the last time under this shower.
  10. I said no such thing regarding who I'd vote for, so you can take your bullshit elsewhere, you can bet your bottom dollar on it that I will put up both votes even if one is for Alba.
  11. Ach, they just prefer to wait until the water's at nose level.
  12. Some of those efforts are very funny, 6 parking spaces at the back of a car park with one car straddling the line, so ridiculous it's funny.
  13. You'll find that I was implying that the level of journalism was below that of low quality.
  14. I enjoy the banter of being on the receiving end of name-calling but don't attribute lying bullshit to myself you buckled lefty p***k.
  15. Yep, if most gave Adam Smith more than a cursory glance they'd realise the error of their ways. Sorry if you didn't expect me in the 1%.
  16. Can't see why Alba getting someone in would suddenly improve the standard of journalism.
  17. I know you're not suggesting otherwise but polling data should be nowhere near the data involved in making decisions regarding covid restrictions.
  18. She's quite clearly stolen that tactic from P&B.
  19. You have the wrong Ayr fan for that.
  20. No, if we have a majority we use whatever route the SNP have identified, if we don't get a majority then we stop asking for a mandate at every election unless it's seriously worthwhile.
  21. That might be why he's been soft on Yes for a number of weeks.
