  1. Perhaps in poor taste but if Pixielot are an example of what AI will bring to our lives, then self-drive cars will cause multiple pile-ups and deaths by the hundred if let loose on our roads. Yes, the ICT Pixielot coverage was that bad and I won't be spending any more pennies on PPV if the service provider in question is Pixielot. The one good thing about it is how it has emphasised the more than decent coverage by AUmedia for our first league game against QoS. I'm possibly one of the few who actually likes commentary - Callum and Lauren know their stuff and are always well prepared in knowing each player (us and opposition) so that they enhance the experience rather than what we got on Saturday at Inverness. They are both good at giving out praise to the opposition when praise is due; Lauren in particular is a very good and knowledgeable summariser of anything that goes on and Callum does a very professional job in covering all the action as it develops. They are both well worth listening to.
  2. Sinisalo Houston Muirhead Baird Reading Miller Murdoch Chalmers Smith(C) Moffat Anderson Subs: Cameron, MacCowan, Zanatta, Roscoe, Hare-Reid
  3. I thought Smith had a very good debut not least because of our goal which he created but also becasue he nearly won it with that late freekick. Like some, I'm not totally convinced by Roscoe but feel he can do a job against any other team but one that included the usual man-mountain attackers. Houston at right-back with Aero in the middle seems the right combination but not sure why Houston hasn't really got a starting gig yet. Is his fitness the problem? Looking at the highlights (which were a million times better than that Pixielot disgrace which I wasted £10 on ), I thought Moffat should have scored and Cameron could have had a second if he'd made a decent connection instead of a sclaff for a shot. Given what we usually get in the Highlands, I'll take the point but with a wee tinge of regret that it could have been more.
  4. Brilliant camera work, not. Big Innes shows he can do it for Ayr - ha ha killie
  5. That's very honest - I did think this was a very odd camera position for ICT.
  6. "A little bit of history for ICT this afternoon" - aye, the day you had an idiot commentator and a terrible camera. £10 wasted!
  7. Well done Callum and Lauren - just comparing you to this fucking nonsense in Inverness
  8. Is Donald Trump running the camera ffs - terrible coverage so far
  9. Browse right from the Alloa match and you'll find it - shame the website doesn't say that ffs
  10. Yep - camera is pointing at the Somerset Road End as Ayr win a corner at the Railway End ffs!!
  11. So Miller scores two in the previous match and gets bombed out of this one? Reckon Cameron will be on the bench with Miller replacing him and with Anderson up top - the rest pick themselves with Walsh, McCowan and Moore unavailable and Zanatta on the bench.
  12. Welcome, Innes. Plese don't bring anything with you from Kilmarnock - they seem to have a wee problem staying healthy at that club.
  13. Very much agree with all that, except I thought Kelly was better than "pretty good" - hard-working midfielders who also get forward and who are very capable of making as well as scoring goals at our level are fairly rare which is why I was sorry to see Docherty go at the same time as Kelly. We have done very well to get Walsh, Miller and Chalmers but I reckon a goalscoring midfield player would be top of my list now if I was MK. Don't get me wrong though - I'm very happy with the signings we've made with possibly only Zanatta being on the 'some doubts about him' list.
  14. Dangerous times for an Ayr fan - I'm beginning to feel optimistic about this season - the hope that kills? Great signing - well done again to the club for making this happen.
  15. Don't know but thought he was a nutter rather than a character and of course he had a voice that could be heard in the stand never mind the enclosure
  16. That'll have been "Enclosure George" who abused every Ayr manager. I remember him shouting "Get away from here, Wells" at Davie Wells back in the day. I was a lot younger but didn't understand even then the mentality of a so-called Ayr fan. Loon, more like, rather than a fan. Sorry, wrong quote - to do with the guy who abused Watt
  17. I thought his save from the snapshot by Dobbie in the second half was excellent. Typically, Dobbie hit it hard and it bounced in front of Sinisalo who held on to it confidently - could easily have bounced out and landed at the feet of any in-rushing attacker. He does look good but its early days and he's young and will doubtless have less enjoyable days.
  18. I didn't have any problems apart from the little freeze at the start - it was fine after that. I like the commentary and the half-time interview has been very good. Given that we're very unlikely (sadly!) to have fans back in the ground for the forseeable, I wonder if it's possible for the camera position to be more elevated now and perhaps positioned in the main stand itself (directors' box?). Just a thought - no complaints from me.
  19. Means Miller will play left side - or MacKenzie will get another run. I like both so not fussed either way. Btw, young Smith looks a very good prospect.
  20. Excuse me sticking my oar in but when I bought the PPV for the Annan game, I got two emails: one from Worldpay and one from tickets@ayrunitedmedia.co.uk, the latter of which contained Access Code for the match.
  21. Same here and my internet connection is vey good so there's something else not explainable as yet
