  1. I think 'square go' and 'socially distanced' are mutually exclusive
  2. Much better performance and very happy for the Moff of course. My MotM was Micky Miller who kept fat boy Adam quiet for the most part. Sinnisalo was either a bombscare or a hero at times - pleased for him whatever. Three points that I didn't for a minute think we'd get and you have to hand it to Mark Kerr for getting the formation and the tactics right. PS. thought our first goal was very reminiscent of Stranraer's against us last week. Silly old fucking game.
  3. .....but will have Andy Murdoch, Paddy Reading, Cammy Smith , Cameron Innes and Aaron Muirhead all available - none of them played on Saturday so you can expect a load of changes based on the fact we were crap and lucky to get passed Stranraer.
  4. Yes, Moore more so than Walsh who should be back by the end of the month.
  5. Deliveroo here - where do you want the sour grapes dropped aff?
  6. Your goal was a disgrace from a defensive point of view (Roscoe will have been hammered for what he tried to do) - hence my comment. Our goal isn't made any more suspect or otherwise from the highlights. You were unlucky in the end even if Fleming kept you in it with two fantastic saves from Anderson and MacCowan. TBH, I didn't fancy us taking penalties against a former AU hero in goal for you but that's the lottery of penalty shoot outs. Onwards - but I'll be pleased when Murdoch, Reading, Walsh, Cameron, Smith and Whitehead are back in that team.
  7. Having watched the highlights of Stranraer (ploughed field) vs Hamilton Accies (plastic shite) earlier in the week, I do wonder if the happy medium of a half decent pitch has gone for ever in Scotland . Given the weather we get around this time of year, I can see why it was difficult to play anything approaching 'flowing football' at Somerset today and I'm even finding myself wondering if 'plastic shite' is the way forward in our league? Whatever, I'm just glad we've got through. Need to get a lot more solid in the middle of the back - their goal was disgrace. But our hold-up play was good at times. Glad we've got through - nuff said
  8. Gettin stick from that bastion of educational excellence doon the road, only slightly better than the soapdodgers from HMP Killie? I'm shocked, sort of
  9. There's Hewitt, MacKenzie and Smith to add as well. Wouldn't mind seeing more of young Smith - looks a prospect.
  10. I can accept that there were technical difficulties yesterday that weren't there for the QoS screening - such is the nature of modern technology ("It was working well last week and it's the same set-up" - a phrase you often hear in IT). What bugs me more than anything is the poor positioning of the camera - surely we can get the gantry raised or moved without risking anything or spoiling someone's view in the stand (if there is anyone in there!). The commentary from Callum and Lauren is fine and very fair-minded, the half-time show is well worth watching. From what I've seen so far, Morton's package is the best and well done to them - wouldn't take that much to match what they do though. As for the game - Moff could have scored in the first half if he'd been a little bit quicker than the defender who blocked the attempt. Thought Anderson was much better than last week, seemed to get on the ball more and create things. Houston looks back to what we want and in general the defence coped well enough. Poor game though with very little worth remembering but if I was a Pars fan I'd be disappointed with the number of wasted freekicks around the edge of the box that they had. Onwards.
  11. it's okay now - even if we're being outplayed at times!
  12. Not necessarily disagreeing, Wattoo, but you also need to defend properly and at least 2 of Morton's goals were avoidable. I don't enjoy us conceding any goals obviously but I'd prefer to be just scoring more than the opposition if they manage to score while we're playing 'open attractive football'. But when we're 2 ahead with not long to go away from home, game mangement, even if it means row- Z-defending occasionally, has to be part of the tactical armoury.
  13. Fair commentary that and I was very happy for about 85 minutes yesterday (aside from Aero's sending off which was unnecessary). What I don't understand is Miller not getting a start - he's looked more than decent and could have been used to do a holding job once we went down to 10. Game management is something we need to learn, eleven or ten in black and white.
  14. Aye but we're playing well. Good commentary - well done Morton
  15. Somebody is gonnie get their arse kicked for that howler
