As I say last night listening to my Alt-J cassette enjoying a chai latte and making Simpsons memes I was thinking about Open Goal as a wrestling faction and whether they would be face or heel.

This thread has been a great read but this has done me in, honestly just say "The average Terrace listener is WOKE!!!"
I was a big fan of Open Goal in the early days of Si Ferry 1-on-1 interviews and even the beginning of the podcast, I could stomach the OF-centric talk and enjoy some of the banter, and really got it with the run-up to Euro 2020, was an unashamed fan of the whole "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" rise. After the Euros though, I really felt that I was hearing the same stuff every week and rapidly lost interest at that point. Absolutely hated the Open Goal Broomhill pish, happy that it fell apart.
As for AVFTT it's a weird one, I've always thought I'd get right into it as it's right up my alley on giving a wider view of Scottish football, but I've never really been all that arsed with podcasts and I consume most of my content through YouTube. Always enjoyed the hosts' contributions on here and on Twitter but the actual podcasts/TV shows are something I've never bothered to get into any more than that.
I think if you're interested in the dressing room culture and the 'one of the lads' mentality then Open Goal is a decent listen, while A View From The Terrace very much is summed up by its name, it's a fan's view of the game and its quirks, and isn't pretending to be anything else.
Terrace just recently started doing their podcasts on YouTube. I've become the same as yourself most of my podcasts have sort of fallen away as I mostly consume content on YouTube.

What’s everyone’s thoughts? Is mathie away and just hasn’t been announced or has he taken a step back away from the public side of things?
I find it strange we haven’t heard from him since Bullen left as he had been giving us updates every 2/3 months until that point
We heard from him two weeks ago.

In one of many of John Sim's 'out there' ideas a bridge or tunnel was mentioned as something the club were thinking about to get access to Balwearie. This was donkeys ago way before the new investors came in.
Tunnel is even better!

At no point in this crusade have you considered the implications for worms and other similar creatures. Good points and bad points should be covered.
Kilmarnock are getting a grass pitch in.

Don't really see the advantage to our game of not having these pitches.
It would be better if there was some sort of 'pitch maintenance' framework that covered grass, hybrid and artificial surfaces that all the clubs had to follow e.g. no slopes, adequate drainage, artificial surfaces replaced before expiry etc etc

Draw the most likely outcome for me.
Fortunately having won last week we aren't desperate for the win with the game in hand and Inverness likely to get beat against Dundee United (no guarantees on either) so draw is no disaster for us.
Think we will both be in the championship next season doing major squad overhauls in the summer. We both score a good number of goals (5th and 4th most) and usually that sees you ok.

His “save” at around 1:10 into the highlights makes it look like he’s wearing mittens and handcuffs rather than goalie’s gloves.
Think it bounces before coming to him which must've changed the flight somewhat. Got away with that as it looks like it hit the post.

Not sure how up to date market place is but according to that we only have Stanger, Dempsey, Syla, Murphy, McGeady, Guthrie, Tomlinson and Bryden signed up for next year, I think Mutch may be as well but it does not say, going to be a hell of a rebuild next season
Robbie Mutch
Sean McGinty
George Stanger
Ben Dempsey
Aiden McGeady
Jamie Murphy
Roy Syla
Scott Tomlinson
Ahkeem Rose
Mark McKenzie
Max Guthrie
Fraser Bryden

Its all about the budget . If we free up the funds in the summer we could be in for a big season . The new stand will be open and the hospitality bucks will be flowing into the coffers .
Can't imagine we will make much of a dent into the bonus Scottish Cup money as well so he really should be able to go get who he wants.
